Wrong size fitting listed
Wonderful device and just what I needed to fix my turkey frier burner. Literally! The description calls out a 3/8 flair fitting to in interface with the burner but it is in fact a 5/8 flair fitting just like on my burner. Now being a trusting sole and "knowing" Amazon information is always right I ordered a 3/8 male to 5/8 female adapter (ever try to find one of these?). Imagine my surprise when the new hose/regulator arrived and it was a .........5/8 interface!Now I have a 3/8 to 5/8 unobtanium adapter to add to my collection of stuff I'll never use!

Great solution to smoker temp control
Great item. Solves the age old problem of keeping propane smoker temp low. Works well

Quality construction, solid performance
I purchased this for use with a "turkey fryer" type burner. It's almost an identical match for the one that came with the fryer, except has a four foot hose, as opposed to three foot on the original. The regulator puts out enough pressure for a very good size flame, and I had no problem in quickly bringing a full pot of water up to temp for a crawfish boil. The adjusting knob is also much better than the one on the original hose, and allows for more precise adjustment of the flame. I also like the slightly longer hose, as it allows you to get the propane tank a little bit farther away from the action.

Pretty Good
It works as advertised. I bought it for the adjustable valve. It works, but it's really easy to adjust, too easy. Slightest bit of a touch and it will move considerably. Which wouldn't matter so much if you are monitoring it constantly. But that's not doable in my particular situation. I need a set and forget valve. Will probably replace the valve with something a bit more friendly to my commercial application.My application is a bit off the beaten path, so not docking a star. It works as it should, just not to suit me. I'm different lol.

Used to render beeswax in an old turkey fryer propane base. Needed the hose to have a separate adjusting valve to control the flame. Worked fine.
