I really love this SmallRig camera cage because it is made of 100% metal with NO plastic parts. I own many of the SmallRig adapters for my camera cage and I love when companies don't cut corners to save some money and give us quality items such as this camera cage made of metal with no plastic parts. I feel my camera is safe and secure on this camera cage cause I can feel the quality in my hands of this cage with no possibility of plastic parts failing because it is all metal...NO PLASTIC. I recommend this camera cage to anyone who wants to give their camera an excellent upgrade such as this cage that will not only give your camera some added protection but can take several adapters already available from SmallRig. This is definitely a 5 Star rating and If I could give it a 10 Star rating I would. I am very happy with SmallRig products.

The media could not be loaded. I like it. It doesn't interfere with any of the cameras functionality and is well built and thought of. What a serious pain Smallrig is for never having any form of instructions. Not even a diagram, a note or even a hint. I won't drop stars for that since it is a great product and when shoppers are looking for something, they don't see the lack of stars for anything other than a bad overall product. I created a video for it that had a lot of background noise I had to clean up. In doing that cleanup, it left an echo effect. I was able to drown that out with some simple music. It's my own rendition of Stairway, my way, so shouldn't be blocked (you can barely hear it), but something was necessary to save your ears from the echo effect the noise reduction created.Lastly, there are some model numbers higher than this one that were discontinued. Not sure how smallrig does their model numbers. It makes as much sense as not including instructions of any kind in their products.

I LOVE the smallrig camera cages. You can add so many extra accessories to your camera and they really help keep the camera safe. Just be careful because you will need to remove one of the camera strap rings on the Z5 to make this fit. Not a big deal at all!

This cage works fine on my Z6II but the description/pictures for the product do not match the delivered item exactly. For example, there are no threaded holes for the "FTZ lens Adapter Support 2244". I did check and my FTZII mounts just fine. There are some differences around the installation key storage (magnetic) area at the bottom of the cage as well, but not an issue. It seems like old pictures and descriptions were just not updated (at least on Amazon) when slight modifications to the product were made.Installation-wise, note that it's necessary to remove the camera strap mounting (triangular) hardware to allow a proper cage fit and to allow mounting screw access (the screw inserts through the camera strap connector hardware) for connecting the upper left corner of the cage (viewing from the rear of the camera) on the Z6II.

Was a perfect fit for my Z6II. have held up great over the past year. has all the connections point you could need.

So lightweight I can even use on my camera even on a gimbal. Very convenient and worth the money

I love the simple installation and two point anchoring to the camera. Very tight contact with no flex. It should be noted that the latest version does NOT have 1/4' threaded holes on the front for the discontinued FTZ adapter support. No biggie, but Amazon should remove this option on this product.
