Lights work perfectly and deck looks beautiful at night with the warm glow added. Directions on how to “turn on” lights at initial installation would have been helpful.

These are cheaply made and they show it! From afar they look okay but up close you can tell they are junk. The batteries do not last overnight. Maybe 4 hours. They also don't work in the cold. I wish I would have known this before I purchased 12 of them. I wish I could get a refund and just spend a little more on a much better product. Learn from my mistake.

We purchased these lights 3 weeks ago. We bought a set of 8 but only use 5 of them, and all burn bright. It's been cold but sunny today. The lights came on about 5:30 this evening. It's now 9:45 and they're still going strong. There were a few days that were really overcast, and they barely came on at all, but that is to be expected.Installation was simple. They fit very well on our 4X4 PVC posts. They are secure enough that I didn't use the enclosed screws.I only gave this product 4 stars because there should have been instructions on how to remove the top to get to the switch. We discovered that it's easiest to twist the top counterclockwise and twist the housing clockwise at the same time. Then reverse the process to lock the top back on. The led, battery, and power switch are all on the underside of the top.It remains to be seen how durable these lights are. We purchased flickering "flame" solar lights a year ago and they still work fine. Hopefully we'll have the same good luck with these.

Pretty disappointing since aesthetically it looks nice. Some are brighter than others, but overall it does not keep its glow. Will be returning and still searching for solar post lights. I was hopeful since they had decent reviews, but I would have to agree with the negative reviews on this product.

So far so good, I love them and they are really pretty on my fence post. I only but them on the corners because I could not afford to have one on each post. They work great they come on at dusk and since it’s summer they stay on until almost 5 am everyday. I’m sure that will change as the days get shorter and the nights longer. We have had some pretty bad storms and the rain and wind have not affected them at all. So very happy with this purchase

To the few who complained about the batteries burning out early - there ARE superior, longer-lasting rechargeable solar batteries that can be purchased, out there. In fact, that's what I did and that is what I would recommend to anyone who purchases these solar deck lightsBy the way, am very happy with these deck lights - they're very bright at night and have gotten a good deal of compliments on them.

When I first bought some of these a year ago, they were good and did the job. This year, some already need replaced, because the light has diminished or faded so bad. I bought about 20. All faded bad and yellowed slightly. about 70% have diminished in light and 30% no longer have a light.

doesnt fit properly on a 4x4 post....mounting form is either too big or too small.......we just started the screws and centered it as best we could
