There is no switch. We turn ours off at the mains plug. Otherwise it is very good.

This picture light uses 3 W e14 candle bulbs with a small Eddison screw fitting (2 in each light) , I bought 3 picture lights so I bought a pack of 6 through Amazon from LOHAS I think that they were roughly £2 each
