Directions were not clear on how to put ittogether

Many other reviews correctly mention the box does not fit tightly when closed and that the lid has a crease in it. These things are true, but overall the box seems fairly sturdy. As I assembled the box the flap at the front when folded down was found not to be quite tall enough for the tabs to fit down into the slits to hold the front solidly together (think a bankers box assembly). As seen in my photos, I used the pieces that were popped out to make the slits to jam the tabs into the slits and hold them more firmly in place and taped them so they cannot wiggle out of place. That made the front of the box more stable. I also taped the tabs that protrude from the back of the box and the top sides as well after I had packed the dress and veil inside. With a bit of extra effort, the box will serve my purposes nicely enough. The box does seem a bit expensive to me. I greatly appreciated the inclusion of the acid-free tissue paper.

First instruction for assembly should be: Throw away the instruction sheet! It's confusing and unnecessarily overcomplicated. Just lay it flat, start folding up the flaps, and picture what needs to happen to turn it into a box. Took me about 5 minutes once I stopped trying to figure out where all the lettered/numbered flaps and slots were.Do note that this box is buffered, so if you are storing silk, you may prefer to use an unbuffered acid-free box. Worth a few minutes' research to check what is best for your particular materials before buying, as recommendations vary for different fiber types.As a box, it's fine — I wish the lid fit over the bottom half instead of having flaps that tuck inside, as it's a bit tricky to close up if you've filled it with something fluffy like a big dress or packing tissue. If you're storing something really voluminous like a wedding dress, or plan to open and close it frequently, a box with separate removable lid that fits over the top would be easier to handle. But for pack-it-and-leave-it storage, this does the trick nicely.

I was looking for a wedding dress storage box and my mother-in-law suggested looking for a quilt storage box instead. They tend to be bigger and lot less expensive. This one was HUGE, fit the dress beautifully, came with all the acid free tissue paper I needed and was about $70 cheaper than the wedding dress storage boxes I was looking at. Plus it was tons bigger than those boxes. Now I don't have to worry about my dress - I know it is well protected and in great shape. I thought I had high expectations for this purchase, but it still exceeded them all. (The first pic is my dress in the box - right before I stuffed the bodice and sleeves with tissue and finished packing it up. The second pic shows just how big the box is.) Note: my dress had a tulle underlay and a train, so it needed a bit of space!

It took a lot of work but I did fit my wedding dress into the box. it comes with the acid free paper which was great. it was a little slow to arrive it was a day later than scheduled and the packaging wasn't great it came dented and the box inside was dented as a result. It is a good size and looks just like what I thought it would. seems sturdy enough. I dont feel like it will last 30 years I will probably end up ordering another one in the future. Either way it saved me hundreds so I did not have to send my dress out for preservation.

Great product! Great for wedding dress or quilts! Plenty of acid free paper and great directions. Took a while to receive because of shipping delays due to COVID (no fault of seller). Contacted seller as I was concerned it was lost and they quickly responded. Highly recommend the product and the seller!

I needed a box to store my wedding gown. It would be great for any item of clothing. I assembled the box (instructions provided).I prepared the gown with the tissue paper that was included with this box. I followed instructions to get the dress onto the box.The price was good. I really could have used a larger size because my gown had a wide, full bottom. I was still able to get it into box. PS- I reinforced the corners & closure with clear package tape so it doesn’t open up while stored.

Ordered this box to house vintage army uniform. Arrived extremely quickly and was larger than expected! Was able to fit additional army memorabilia as well as hat to uniform!
