I have a nice mohair girth ( another brand and 2 in. longer) but it did stretch a bit which was ok but a bit long for my horse so I thought I would try a 28 in. I have erosive osteoarthritis in my hands and was lured in by the roll snug buckle. It works better than I expected and I never have to ask for help to tack up which I had to do quite routinely. The girth itself is comparable to what I had so I am sold on the Weaver.

I need a 30" cinch ... Had to return two different sizes because this cinch runs 2 inches short. Ended up with the 32 inch which measures 30 inches

So happy with my purchase here and the fit is just perfect. Great quality at a great price. I would give it 10 stars if possible. These are the only girths that I like to use and this one replaces an older one that I had for my horse. Bought a new saddle for him and it required a smaller size girth due to the difference in the saddle making. The other thing I love about it is, since I am older and not as strong as I use to be, it makes it so much easier to get my cinch tight without me having a hernia, lol. Once again, I am so very pleased with this girth.

I’ve tried a ton of different cinches without any luck. My mare kept getting galled. I finally tried this mohair cinch, as I used this kind years ago (I’m talking 50 years) and never had an issue. Voila! Success!! I’m happy and so is my mare. Just because folks say it’s “new and approved” doesn’t make it so! Sometimes they had it right in the first place and this is one of those times. Do you and your horse a favor and try one of these. I doubt you will ever change to a different cinch once you do.

I like how the mohair smart cinch gives with my horse but still holds my saddle in place.I actually notice my horse walking out a little quicker now. No pinching which attributes to the softness of the mohair.Great product.
