I mean...what a simple solution to the problem anyone looking at this has always had. A friend showed me these. I bought a pack, put them in a ziplock, and now all but the three I've used are in a tool bag. Yes, they work easily. They go on easily, they come off easily, and the go back on easily...or toss when gunked up because they are inexpensive. I must have, to my mind.

Heavy duty enough to use over and over. I used these not only on latex caulk but construction adhesives and other polymer based products. Even after 3-4 months it’s ready to go with no clogged tip. Rolling it off and rolling it on is good reminder of my younger adventures too !

This product works about as well as a small piece of plastic wrap, but is more convenient to use. I had to clean off the tip of the caulking tube before installing, because these roll down tubes are a very tight fit, and if you have excessive caulk on the tip, it gets messy and slippery to install.After installing, the caulk still cured a bit at the tip, but not as much as when I use other means to seal the tip. I found that using two of these roll down tubes seem to seal it better.Generally, don't reuse after one use, unless it's still clean or caulk is not cured.

I wish I had these caulk caps years ago. Now that I have them, they have saved me a lot of time, materials, and money. I’m a very active DIYer. I used to buy tubes of caulk, glue, grout, etc. but not use them up completely. I would try to cap them with wood plugs, nails, etc. but the products would only stay usable for a short time. Inevitably, I ended up throwing out the tube and buying another one for the next project. With these caps, the tubes stay usable for as much as six months. And you get a whole bunch in the box, so they will last you through many many projects. Very handy.

Doesn’t work as well as you would think! But better than plugging with a nail or screw

I can’t see many rave reviews on a simple rubber cap. Still, I find these quite useful for keeping dirt out of my pneumatic tools between uses. Will they last forever? Nope. But they don’t have to. They’re inexpensive and come in quantities that allow them to be replaced whenever they tear, which actually isn’t all that often.Cheap insurance for expensive air tools. Not easy to find in physical stores, so buy enough to keep you going.
