Functionality:Very comfortable. Easy to put together. Cheaper than buying wood and stain to make one. Durability:Time will tell. The stain is beautiful, but it could use another coat of clear to seal it. Color:Beautiful dark brown. Hangability:Easy to hang. We’ve adjusted it a couple of times to make it the correct height. Fit:The rounded front of the seat makes it very comfortable.

Our VINGLI Patio Wooden Porch Swing is comfortable and of very good value - sturdy, structurally durable, easy to put together, comfortable to swing in and at a great price. It's only shortcoming was the finish; though smooth, it was easily damaged when I used my fingernail to remove the construction stickers attached to the parts. A light sanding and a couple coats of polyurethane resolved that issue, however. Given the other attributes, though, I confidently recommend this swing especially when hung using ballbearing hangers which help it to glide smoothly. A great value!

This swing is exactly what I was looking for! It’s the perfect size for my small porch, and it fits beautifully without overwhelming the space. The white finish is clean and classic, and the wood feels sturdy and well-made. It holds up to 880 lbs, which gives me confidence in its durability.It’s also surprisingly comfy, even without cushions (though you could definitely add some for extra coziness). I took a chance because of the price but I got what I paid for. The seat came 1/2 white. We had to go out and buy paint and a paint brush and finish painting it ourselves. The seat at the bottom was cracked in a few places so we also bought wood glue. I mean this was built by dome kid and is just shipping these out to make a few bucks. It’s dangerous to buy low quality seating where it can snap and make you crack a tail bone. We took it down, made a bench out of it and invested in a quality swing seat. These people selling this are really disrespectful selling crap like this.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was easy to assemble. I assembled it in 20 minutes. I am 200lbs and I would not recommend more than 400lbs on it. I painted it to match the rest of my porch furniture. The chains are very durable. I was going to buy a cheaper swing and then really considered the long term options. I think the cheaper options are "you get what you pay for."

The item arrived with numerous scratches and bare wood showing in several places. It had some cracks in the wood as well. The issues were largely cosmetic. I did not want to try to shoe horn everything back in the box for a return as it would be time consuming. The package is also quite large and heavy. I touched up the bare wood with tung oil for weather proofing, assembled it, and am using the swing chair. It still doesn’t look quite right. I like it well enough for its functionality but remain dissatisfied with the poor quality control. The box and shipping packaging materials were in good shape. I believe the quality issues were likely present before shipping. I contacted the manufacturer and sent them the Amazon order info. They advised me they could not do anything and I should contact Amazon. I contacted Amazon customer service which is automated and menu driven. I could not get anywhere through that route and don’t care to spend anymore time on this. Just calling it like I see it. Poor quality control and zero customer support after the sale. Very disappointing.6/18/25 update: After emailing back and forth with the manufacturer, they eventually sent a replacement swing chair. I really don’t need two of them and the original one was already assembled and in use. I will just sell the newly arrived unassembled chair which will offset part of the original cost of the swing chair. While I would have preferred a partial refund for convenience, I am satisfied with the outcome and updated the rating to 4 stars accordingly. Good customer service recovery. Overall the chair is very nice looking and functional.
