Great for multiple uses.
This is a great all in one product, I really dig the sound quality. Honestly this sounds as good as my Sennheiser headphones that use a decent DAC.Disadvantages:1) Not as loud or full as a bigger PA speaker.2) Not a wireless portable speaker.3) Needs a powered subwoofer to really kick more expensive systems.Advantages:1) Decent mixing options on 8 ch: mono, stereo and Bluetooth.2) Great volume for an 8 inch driver. 121 db is the same as the tops of an L1 line array.3) decent bass frequency for an 8 inch (still prefer with sub).4) Has a switching sub crossover so basically if you plug an active (powered) sub into it, it won't play the lows through the main driver and the mids sounds better. A 300w sub basically makes this speaker like a full L1 system for a decent amount less money.5) Decent audio quality.6) speakers are extremely light so putting them on stands is easy.7) Phantom power and high z for guitar (not all channels, also with a guitar you should mic up the guitar or amp box of it is electric as this is a flat amp and guitar doesn't sound as good as a git amp).

Good sound and portability.
For its size, this system offers great sound and power. Very portable, the storage space for the cables is a plus. The mixing board has its limitations, is pretty basic, however, does what is supposed to do.The bluetooth is great and easy to set up. Sounds great indoors and outdoors.Make no mistake, this is no 15 inch; - 1000w loud speaker, and to get the most out of this system you need a subwoofer. I paired it with a Bose F1 sub, and have no complaints: it's loud and clear. I would guess this is perfect for events up to 50 maybe 75 people.Reliability... I guess is too early to tell.Update.... issues with the locking system (the speakers don't stay together all the time) however... an additional strap/bungee cord could fix the problem.Update 04-15-2020 - Upgrade from 4 to 5 star "minus" system still works well, great quality.Update 04-25-2022 - system still works greatUpdate 07-01-2023 - I use a 12" Alto sub (approximately 300w) and it still works fantastic. The speakers took a fall or two since I bought them. Never had any issues.Update 04-03-2024 - light usage, and still works. When compared to other systems, it seems like the bass output towards the subwoofer is somewhat on the weaker side...However, after about 6 years it still works and sounds good.

JBL puts out great sound!!!!
I love the size, the way the speakers connect to the amplifier and the cost wasn't bad.

Great But Needs More Powah!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:For a portable system as condensed as this, its an ingenius product. I can fit it in the trunk of my sedan with all of the other equipment that I need to bring for shows. The biggest downside in this is that it's not super loud at all. Considering that its only using power from guitar cords from the mixer module in the middle, its still impressive but it's not what I'm looking for. It will cut out when it gets too loud to protect it from wearing down too quickly. Don't use this for large gyms, use this for community centers.

stoped working during warranty, no repair service provided.
1. Product description not clear if this is a manual bivolt, automatic bivolt or if different units are 100 or 220V. Only after buying I discovered it was the last option and that I got a 110V, not my preference.2. Volume button is too sensitive, even small turns will make big differences, making volume changes on the go difficult to make.3. There is no treble and bass controls for auxiliary RCA input channel, so no specific adjustments possible for this channel4. NOW THE REALLY SERIOUS AND OUTRAGEOUS THING: My unit stoped working approximately nine months after purchase here at amazon. Contacted warranty services online and was poorly attended, being put in a long circle of "write to a different email, enter another site" cycle, till being informed warranty only valid in US and since I am in Brazil there was nothing they would do. But it got even worse: I went to an authorized Harman repair service in São Paulo (brasivox.com.br) where I was informed there is just one non-functional digital component on the circuit which might be replace easily and without costs. However, Harman does not work with this model in Brazil, does not import the malfunctioning component and refuses to give them the circuit scheme so they can get the malfunctioning piece code for me to try and buy a new one in USA.In other words, simply because I am in another country, Harman refuses to repair within the warranty and even prohibits me to even buy the malfunctioning piece abroad. Total nonsense, frustrating experience, poor quality product, worst professional repair service. Will neve buy Harman/JBL again in my life.

Really Good. Easy to set up super light weight.
I have played music for a long time. From punk houses to theatres. We got this guy for our wedding and it worked great. It's light weight and simple to install. Comes with 1/4" cables as well. We didn't use the mic as had some wireless ones but everything was crystal clear clarity.Bluetooth was easy to set up. Playback of music was easy to dial in. Got really loud. I got this on a sale for $600 I believe on here. It was totally worth that much money. We've used it a few times since when entertaining folks. It's really easy to set up.I wish I had this back in the day. I remember lugging some huge PAs around.

Great system for small-medium sized venues
We used this system for an outdoor wedding with 120+ people in attendance. The sound of the mics and the music were both clear and had plenty of power for all to enjoy. We added a passive subwoofer to round out the sound with low end bass and a couple of portable speaker stands to keep the speakers elevated. I highly recommend this system!!

Nice compact system with good sound, easy to pack up and unpack. Worth every cent.
Loved the carrying case feel of it (it is heavy, but at least it is like a suitcase), music input options, 4 mic capacity. Comes with a mic with an on/off switch. Cords are long. All packs into the speaker system. Did have to buy stands for the speakers, which fit nicely onto stands, and a third one for the amplifier would be good so all is high and easy to work with.
