Pool Skimmer Net- Total Length 72 inches Rake with Pole,Accessories for Cleaning Inground/Above Ground Swimming Pool, Pond,Spa and Hot Tub Leaf Debris

I found that after a rain here the surface of my pool gets filled with small flies (1-2mm size). My regular net wont remove them so I purchased and tested this one. The pole is 4 pieces of aluminum that fit together easily (and well) with the net on the top (bottom). Its about 6 feet long and fairly sturdy (I havent had any problem yet). Because of the very fine mesh, you have to skim a little more delicately to prevent a bow-wave. However, with some care it does skim very small insects and tiny pieces of floating plant material that are unlikely to be pulled into the pool filter intakes and will not be removed with a normal pool skimmer.EDIT: The mesh started tearing after about a year rendering it useless.

We have a terrible sediment in our water that sinks to the bottom of the pool. Mix in the dust, sand, dirt, leaves, etc that get into the pool make it a gross mess. It’s a 15’ round pool with which I use no filter and other than a floater for chlorine etc, all I use is a skimmer making it the most important tool to keep it clean. With this one my pool sparkles. This is the best skimmer I have ever used. It's mesh is tight with tiny holes more like cheesecloth instead of netting with larger openings. This gives you the ability to push through the water and actually catch all of the leaves, dirt, and even the tiniest particles of dust, sand and sediment. Previously I have had to empty the pool, clean it, then refill it and it still would have the sediment from the water in it. Since using this skimmer I didn't have to empty the pool at all.This skimmer does take a little more effort pulling it through the water because if the resistance of the cloth being so dense, but not bad. I use it as an exercise walking in circles in the pool swooshing the skimmer to the right and left like oars. So it's multipurpose skimmer and workout equipment! Lol! The multiple sections of the pole make it easy to adjust the length to fit the size of the person using it and the size of the pool. Bottom line is I love it. It is a great value, shipping was perfect and prompt, it came in in perfect condition, and it does more than it's job!

I really like this , it works great and I definitely recommend it. Doesn't bend and break (if used properly) even then you can go pretty quickly with this skimmer it's absolutely recommend

I have tried many skimmers in my large pond for leaves and debris for 30 years. They all had downsides (like why are some round?? so that its easier to accidentally pitch stuff back into the water?) This one is an intelligent quadrangle, and the lip on the edge makes it soooo much easier to dredge around near the bottom for the really slimy stuff. I got the 'regular' mesh one, and it still catches plenty of muddy stuff. Some people had complaints about roughness where the pole sections attach---well, if you have sensitive hands you can wear a glove--or I'm sure a light application of sand paper would address this, since its only aluminum. I only noticed the roughness on assembly--not while i was using it. The length is great, its very light but does not weaken under a load.

Love the extension of the pole! It is very lightweight and reaches a great distance when outside of the pool. My only dislike os how water gets in the pole, it comes back on you.

The mesh on this is nice and fine so it gets everything. The handle is also truly rust proof aluminum, and I like that you can add or remove sections of the handle to make it shorter or longer. I’m on my third one (first one finally let go, and we have 2 now) and I’m sure they won’t be the last. We use our pool year round and these are the best. I just wish I could buy a replacement net end without needing another handle.

I bought on the cheap side but was surprised at how good it really is. I especially like the scoop at the front of the net. We don't keep our vac in the pool all the time and I can scoop up all kinds of debris with the scoop.Wish it was a little sturdier but with my arthritis I love the light weight. Have to say when I scoop I smack it against the side and it hasn't even put a ding in it.
