Wahl USA Lithium Ion Total Beard Trimmer for Men with 11 Guide Combs for Easy Trimming, Detailing, & Grooming – Model 9888

Been using Wahl products for years, and just like the rest, this trimmer doesn't disappoint.It's a little bare-bones. It doesn't have any charge indicator, so there's no way to know how much battery you have left. You basically plug it in to charge it and unplug it a few hours later (it has circuitry to stop it charging when it's full). You also won't know when to charge it unless it dies on you. I've had it for two months and use it twice a week and it hasn't died yet though, so you'll likely get several weeks out of each charge.Having said all that, the thing's so cheap and so good that it's hard to be bothered by no charge indicator. It's a powerful little trimmer with a quality lithium battery and enough attachments for anyone. I'd buy again in a heartbeat.The carrying case is crap though. It's made out of similar plastic to pool toys. I'd rather them not include a case at all if it's going to be such lame quality. That's my only complaint though, still very happy with this product.

Works Great.

I owned a model 9888L for 5 years and it worked great- eventually the battery would no longer hold a charge. I would give it 5 stars if the user could replace a battery- as it is you have to mail the unit back to Wahl for service- so you're without it for a few weeks or a month. Also, as a beard trimmer it requires frequent un-clogging, the hair builds up under the plastic guide. Overall a good product. Still trying to decide whether to buy another or try a different brand.

I brought my trimmer with me to another country in July. I charged it before I left, just to be safe. I wanted to travel light, and didn't bring the charger. 3 months later, I moved to said country, and I've been here for two months. I still haven't had to charge the trimmer yet.I use it about three days a week on my neck and about two of those times, I also use a guard on my face. Twice a month, I use it to cut my hair. If I had to guess, it probably runs for about 90 - 180 minutes a each month.Love the attachments, feel in my hand, noise level, versatility. The case isn't terrible, but it does tend to squish the combs on the longer attachments, like 4 and up.

Just what I needed. Top quality beard and mustache trimmer. My last one lasted a decade

This trimmer works like the previous version that wore out. The only thing I do not care for so far is the noise... louder than their past unit.

Trimmer is very easy to use with all the choices of trim sizes and seems to be good quality.

6 weeks (two weeks past returnable) after purchasing and this timmer is tearing up my face! Blades are NOT self sharpening. This trimmer is now unusable as it has become very painful.
