Works great
I bought the 1/2 inch shut off valve,,it worked like a champ and was easy to install on the gray pollybutallene pipe and I'm sure it will also work on pex ect.,,just heat the pipe up until it softens slightly after or before you slip over the nut,,then push barb in tighten nut and bam a waterproof connection with a good non leaking control valve ,,I used it on a toilet to slow its fill rate in case the flapper didn't seat correctly,,that got costly when it happened at full flow rate,,problem solved

Well built valve!
Perfect replacements for a cracked valve on my son’s boat. I bought the soft rubber seals, about the size and shape of acorns, but ended up not needing them.Had a hard time in the past with plumbing on this boat because I was trying to use parts from West Marine (boat parts…duh) and nothing fit. Someone on Facebook clued me in that this is RV plumbing and it clicked.This stuff is fairly inexpensive, so I bought a few different elbows and valves, along with a 100’ roll of PEX piping ‘just in case’ that will probably go back.Parts showed up fast and intact, and having the freshwater tank not pump itself into the bilge is kind of nice… Then again, the bilge IS much fresher than it’s been in awhile.

It fit perfectly on the water drain line that was dripping from old age on a 80’s RV with clear 1/2” pex.

Replaced low point drain end caps with these
Easy to install, just cut off the pex cap and use the compression cap to install the valve. No more wrench required to drain my system. Recommended for my class C by the dealer when I lost one of the two drain caps.
