Works for my needs
Very useful hand bender

The grippers
Units the unit itself is good. It’s a little sloppy. It could be a better Construction as far as when you close it. It grips it a little bit firmer so when you bend, sometimes it slides on the metal I have to put two clamps on each side so it doesn’t slide unfortunately.

Poor engineering leads to a weak product.
I'm a tinner by trade. My original plan was to make my own set of large benders but decided to give these a try since generally Midwest makes a great product. The jaws are super flimsy, lots of wiggle room at the hinge. Jaws do not line up with each other. Haven't even used em yet. Still going to keep them, I can modify them later.

Very nice!
Bends tops on standing seam metal roofs like a champ. Very crips/tight bends that make work much easier. So far they are durable also far beyond other brands with big blades.

Only the center 3” stays tight
15” hand seamer and the last 10” on both sides of the handle loosen and don’t grip the metal at all. Used it a total of 5 times (none actually helped me) but I kept trying it. And by the end of day it had loosened in every single nut, screw, and other ways it tightened. So not worth it for this seamer.
