The BEST GF Bread Ever! And I am not kidding!
I have tried every GF bread (!!!) on the market, cheap and expensive, that I could find, since going GF in 2011. This is absolutely the BEST GF bread, out out of the myriad types that have passed through my kitchen... !!!1. The slice size alone is great. The slices are NORMAL bread sized! I can put a whole slice of bologna on my sandwich and not have bologna hanging off the sides.2. The crusts are not overwhelmingly tough, tasteless, and 'crusty'. The crust is just like that found on a 'regular' piece of bread.3. Most importantly, the 'crumb' of this bread is such that, if I did not KNOW that I was eating GF bread, I would not be able to tell from the 'crumb'. By 'crumb', I mean it's not overly soft and squishy like some GF breads; it has substance, i.e. a 'bready' mouthfeel in my mouth, and it does not disintegrate/melt like cotton candy when hit with saliva or mayonnaise ...4. When toasted and buttered, it's just like real BREAD, folks! REAL BREAD! Finally! The bread is a bit 'pricey'. To me, it is worth every penny. Ordering from Amazon, you will get 4 loaves at a time. I solved the problem of keeping it from molding, over the time I took to eat it all, by using my FoodSaver vacuum sealer thing to package 4 slices at a time, and I put the slices in the freezer. Yes, the slices are squashed big-time. But - when I want to eat, I open the bag a few minutes before I plan to eat, and by the time I'm ready for my meal, the bread has -almost - resumed 'normal size', so it's not a big deal. The squashed bread does not stay squashed.I found this bread during an over-seas trip; I pestered the waitress until she went to the kitchen and returned with the bag. I had never heard of, nor seen, this brand of GF bread before. Thank goodness I've found it!Update: Initially, when I wrote the review above, I DID freeze and then immediately thawed the bread slices in FoodSaver bags, and the bread separated cleanly and nicely. It didn't bounce back to it's original size, but it did 'fluff up' enough to be delicious, and make a good sandwich. However, when I thawed some slices about 2 weeks later, the thawing and separating was not satisfactory. The edges, where the crust is, separated cleanly and easily. But the bread inside the crust stuck together, I guess from the moisture in the bread. When I tried to pull it apart, even though it was thawed, it began to tear. So, I put the thawed bread in the AirFryer at 350 degrees, one minute on each side, and by pulling gently, I could get it separated without tearing it. But it did not fluff back up at all... The taste is still wonderful! What I am going to try with the next order, after I get this order eaten, is to put a piece of parchment paper between the slices before I FoodSaver them. I don't know that that will work any better, but I have, in the past, just put a whole loaf of bread in the freezer in a ziplock bag, and the result was bread covered with ice crystals that turned to mush when it thawed. So what's the answer? I don't know... but this is GOOD BREAD and I'm going to order again...!!!

I thank the heavens every day for this bread
After developing a gluten problem several years ago I had a lot of trouble finding a bread replacement; tried a few different brands of gluten-free bread, all lacking, some absolutely awful. But then, thank heaven, I found this gluten-free bread. Wonderful taste & texture, and toasts like normal bread. And the extra-wide slices are great. I cannot say enough good things about this bread - I recommend it to everyone I know that has a gluten problem.

Great option for gluten free - good taste
This bread is great, it actually tastes good!!! My daughter is allergic to wheat, and she was never able to take sandwiches for field trips, have toast, etc. Finding this bread at Whole Foods changed all that. I was sad that they don't have it at Whole Foods anymore but I am glad that is available online.

Good flavor/ texture
Slices are almost full size but do shrink as it dries out so don’t buy too much at a time. Good flavor. Texture is a bit mealy but holds together for a sandwich. Good ingredients. Fast delivery. Price is higher than gluten bread but lower than a lot of other GF breads. There are several varieties.

Very disappointed as the SIZE of the Loaf has been reduced by approximately 25%, price gone up
Very disappointed that size of a single loaf has decreased and price has increased. However most of the other Gluten Free bread sellers have gone the same direction. This is still the best I know for taste, size of a slice and I guess price.

Not what I was expecting
I was a bit disappointed. The texture is very dry and the flavor is lacking.

Great taste for a gluten free product
We found this bread at a local store and really liked it. Most gluten free products lack real bread taste and usability. Most don’t toast or fall apart when used this on does not. Great product.

Delicious…don’t hesitate buying
I have Celiac Disease and I have been gluten free since January 2011 the day of my diagnosis. I’ve been searching for a good cinnamon and raisin bread. It’s been a long journey with many loaves of bread thrown in the trash. Most were too dense and no flavor. I’m so thankful I came across this bread. It not only taste good but it’s light. I love my cinnamon and raisin bread oven toasted. I will purchase again.Overall this bread is delicious and very satisfying. Thank you Little Northern Bakehouse for this amazing gluten free bread.
