How do you turn on/off your propane tanks. And when you fill your propane takes, how much effort is it to remove the rack?

I can lift the lid on the hard plastic case I use with my propane tanks.  After installing the trailer tray,  I reinstalled the hard plastic tank cover under the rack.  I used white wire ties/zip ties to hold it together instead of the bolts and nuts that it originally had.  Stromberg Carlson recommends a soft vinyl tank cover that can be remover for easy tank removal.  I really love the tank rack.  It is really sturdy and easy to install.

Question 2

I want to mount my generator either with this or a front hitch. Can I permanently mount it and run it on this?

I have a 3600W generator mounted on the tray.  I run it on the tray.   My generator has very little vibration -- we don't notice anything when it is running.  If your generator vibrates a lot, yes you will feel it.   Mine is inside a soundbox.

Question 3

How much room is there between the electric jack  and the front of the propane tanks? Looks like a tight squeeze for that front bar?

The distance between  vertical bar and the electric jack is enough to fit the electric  jack cover on. Without getting up going outside with a tape measure id guess 6'' from bar to propane hard  cover. If you use cloth type propane covers you'll have no problem removing cover and  the  tank sideways. If you have the hard plastic  propane cover it will not pull out to get to the tanks. You will need to make a decision . Cloth cover or adjustment as follows.  I took the plastic hardcover and removed all the rivets holding it together then used 3 nut/bolts on each side . So you undo 6 bolts remove half of hard cover replace tank. Otherwise its a pain in the ash. This is a heavy item spend a moment thinking about how you will mount it. The platform can be configured a little higher allowing you hand to fit under then open the cover turn gas on or off . It says use 2 people to mount the platform. go get mama to help.

Question 4

my champion generator is just shy of 23.5" x 19"  will it fit on tray

I have a very large gen. It did not fit! But it did but a take a min. to come up with and other idea! I just turned the tray upside down! Its not like the lip is holding my gen. in place! So it does hang over about 1in on each side! My gen. is 240lbs. I've have it on it for over a yr. It works great.
