Great budget bike
I was not expecting such good quality for something that cost $1800. I put about 400 miles or so after break in and the bike is a blast to ride around town. I wouldn’t take it on the highway since top speed isn’t very high and the motor will be screaming. But for a beginner bike to learn and ride around town you can not get a better deal. There is the Hawk as well which is the competition but Lifans quality is subpar.

Great bike, parts are hard to find.
I have put 6500 miles on this thing and have ran this bike through dirt, mud, water, and snow, and it still runs like a champ. When things go out like things do Thay are hard to mach up. Right now its my front shocks and I can't find the right size on Amazon to save my life.

Great Bike For a Beginner
The media could not be loaded. Very cool bike and pretty inexpensive for how fun it is. I enjoyed "putting it together' it was very easy just handlebars and the wheels really. The seat is mad uncomfortable just FYI.

As Expected
Arrived well-crated and complete. Initial assembly instructions are poor, but as long as you are mechanically competent and capable of doing your own maintenance this bike should do you well. As also described by other reviewers, I had to make numerous adjustments/minor mods to get the bike into peak mechanical shape, e.g., the chain was too loose; I had to bend the chain guard flange to prevent it rubbing on the chain; throttle cable housing was improperly assembled causing it to bind. However, overall decent quality; I am impressed by it's EFI system and light-weight lithium battery. No issues in first 100 miles, bike is reasonably comfortable and responsive. Being in the break-in period I have not tried to hit top speeds yet, but it is rather obvious you would be pushing the bike rather hard to do 60+ MPH on level ground. A question to Support was answered quickly. Oddities: 1- When I filled the gas tank an overflow allowed about 8 oz of gas to dribble out. 2- Inexplicably, with a full tank, my gas gauge did not show any 'bars' until I had used up some of the gas...

Yeah buddy
Have plenty of bikes in the fleet but was feeling frisky and wanted to get something for my dad for Father's day. Came shipped on a short semi. Quick delivery. Great communication from seller. Easy to piece together. Enough shipping metal around it to one protect it and two build a go kart frame with. Runs great. Valves were set correct on arrival. Make sure to drain and put real oil in bike before first use.

Great cheap bike
So to be clear this isn’t the best bike on the market. This bike isn’t very powerful and lacks a bit of the fit an finish you would find on other bikes. That being said this is probably the best bike you can get for 2500 bucks. Where I live on the used market you’ll maybe find a 90s dr300 that’s beat up from its 4 previous owners for a similar price and that doesn’t really compare to this bike. If you want something more powerful you’ll have to spend a lot more money. The bike isn’t terribly underpowered and still is fun for casual riding and maybe even more fun because of how lightweight and forgiving the bike is. I’ve had mine a few months now and have had one issue with an air intake sensor cracking. I’m very pleased with how both Lifan (the manufacturer) and x-pro (the seller) handled it. I was able to call Lifan and get on the phone with a real person within 1 minute, pretty impressive these days and they offered a little technical help so I could figure out what was wrong with the bike. They told me to contact the seller and request a new air intake sensor so that’s what I did. I was even more impressed with the Amazon seller because all I had to do was explain that I needed and new air intake sensor and they are sending one out to me for free with no questions asked within a week or two of me asking. I’m a bit disappointed that I had this issue with the bike but they way x-pro and Lifan handled the situation makes me feel much better and really happy knowing I have a way to get ahold of support when I need it. Again not the best bike in the world but decent build quality, fun performance and great customer support overall makes this bike a great purchase.

Best starter dual sport bike for the money.
I stumbled upon this after watching YouTube. These motors can take a lot of abuse, these bikes are common in other parts of the world outside the US and have finally met regulations to be sold here again. For the money it is hands down the best option available. Assembly was fairly easy, look for videos on YouTube if you need help. The oil that comes in it is garbage, use better break-in oil. It rides fantastic and was able to register the bike pretty easy in PA. Manufacturer provides excellent support (American Lifan). Contact them directly if you have any issues, they go out of their way to ensure you have a great working product. 10/10 would buy again in a heartbeat! It started right up, is brand new, and got me riding immediately.

Defective ECU
Purchased the bike March 2021, but hardly got to use it. Fired it up with 84 miles June 2023 via kickstart because the battery was dead. It started right away :). I left it running for 15 minutes to let the battery charge. Turned it off and started it with the electric starter with no issues. I turned it off to do other stuff around the yard and decided to take my son for a spin around the neighbor hood an hour later, but it would not start. I tried kick starting it with no success either. Bike gets fuel via the pump and has spark but it's not sending signal to open the injector. I ordered an injector tester from amazon and the injector tested perfectly fine. Had facetime call with support and they determined that the computer(ECU) is bad or some other fuel injection component but since I'm passed the warranty period, the bike is old, the manufacture probably do not have any part in stock for it, and that it would take months to get a replacement ECU, etc. i'm pretty much being told too bad and good luck. Anyway... I'm out 2k on a bike that I only put 84 miles on that was stored in a dry area and covered up since owned. Seller said they would reach out the the vendor but didn't give much assurance that my bike would be fixed anytime soon... hopefully things work out for the best in the end and they have the part they can send or that I can at least buy.
