Neat gadget. Fits exactly where we have a need.
I frequently have a need for PoE at a location where there isn't a wall-outlet. I've had to dig out a UPS and plug a Power Injector in to make that work. Sometimes they want to beep constantly even when they've been silenced. This gadget is fantastic. It's multiple outputs make it extremely versatile.I learned of this at a customer site recently where they had a Wi-Fi Conference Phone, and the phone requires PoE to power itself up.They showed me this gadget and it worked well - I went ahead and bought one for my own tool-kit.Their last conference call was 90-minutes long and the battery was still over 50% remaining.I got mine on Friday - charged it up. I've used it to charge my phone several times over the weekend and it still has 75% battery.I like the cable kit that comes with it - 2 cables and a pack of misc connector adapters to go to various routers. The output from that connector can be used with 9VDC and 12VDC devices. I think this will be very handy when needed. The PoE output is also changeable from 24VDC (1A = 24W) to 48VDC (.6A = 28.8W). This is nice for devices like Ubiquity AP's that require 24V and standard PoE devices that are 48V.This won't do 802.3AT or PoE+. Hopefully next gen will.It will pass through 1GB on the PoE port. When I used the customer's device, we were only using 100MB connection.Overall, I like it. It's compact and very useful.

The only mini-UPS with 48V PoE and USB A power I can find,
The PoE standard requires 44-57V in order to drive standard PoE devices which should run on anything in that same range. I measured 51V on the unit's PoE output, which is perfect for sending power maybe up to 50 feet or so, depending on the current drawn by the PoE load. The unit also has a powered USB-A outlet which can work at the same time as the PoE.Perfect for my application!

Good product, but needs some fine tuning.
This is great for installing POE devices. It has a 15v/24v selector switch for POE (24v@.5 amps), a port to act as a traditional power supply with a separate selector switch, and a USB power port which using my Note 9 showed 1240mA which although isn't quite as fast as my Samsung power adapter, is still faster than most 3rd party chargers I've used and the app that displays the power doesn't show actual power, just charging rate which changes as background apps run. Altogether a very handy device to have. I'm considering buying the 48v version for some of the heavier equipment we use. It's also nice that it charges with a cord (provided) instead of a power brick, so when I lost the cord, I just used the one from my printer. Or maybe it was a DVD player. I can't recall, but it's a plain device cord. With that said, it is a little rough around the edges and could use some fine-tuning. To start, this is the third that I've purchased. The first is still working. The second failed to charge after the initial charge that it came with. So I sent that back and received this one. So 2 out of three worked. There is also a reset button on the back, so I'm assuming there is some kind of protection built in although I'm not sure what for and haven't had to use it. (It did not work on the previous returned unit)There is no indicator to show that the device is charging. When it is plugged in, you can turn it on and see the lights telling you how much charge it has, but when it's off, it's apparently off. There are also lights on the front for 12v and 9v so you know what you're selection is on the other side although as I said, the switch on the back says 24v and 15v. My guess is that this is meant to be watts as 24v@ .5 amps would be 12 watts. If so, then the 15v selector outputs 15v .8 amps 9watts. That's a guess, but that's what I mean by the product needing fine-tuning. The lights should match what's on the other side. And it would be even nicer if they did the conversion and put watts, volts, and amps on it since many devices list different parts and expect people to work out the third number. The instructions are fairly clear but could use some work as well. If I can find what I did with them, I'll post them here.As I said, it's a good product. It does the job and at a fair price too. It just needs a little fine-tuning.

Just trust me -please
Yes I know , a person only writes a review for an amazing product or when the person feels they have been wronged. Well of course !!!So I have to lead with this. I am an electrical Engineer and director of video technologies for my global company. I purchased two of these as a "proof of concept " for our remote remote locations. I had to beg to order just two. My company wanted to order the whole stock. Thank the universes we didn't. During a mission critical task the ups mini would not power on , I thought , dang , how could you not charge this things . I grabbed the second one. . Didn't work. Guess what. One time is usually user error , more than once on bed so egging this simple definitely OM Error. No one has answered my calls. Unfortunate , procurement are my company changes the finical outcome of three fiscal years. Forget the money. Have some pride. no joke my biggest let down purchase in past two years. It's a blessing this brand name has ceased to circulate in our circle.
