I know it can be risky buying furniture online regardless of reviews- I purchased this dresser for my 7 yr old son so I knew it would have to be a solid and sturdy piece. The box arrived and I was immediately impressed by the weight of it. Press board like everything else but it is thick and solid. The directions were clear and everything was included minus a screwdriver and a hammer. I assembled this in an afternoon by myself. I did go the extra step and woodglued every screw hole and every joint especially the drawers. Afterwards I painted it with chalk paint.For the price I do believe you are most definitely getting your money's worth. I'm confident it will last for years to come. The drawers have a good depth and the shape makes it perfect for a smaller bedroom.

I have this same cabinet but I needed another one. The first one was perfect. This one had been a return. All the pieces were not wrapped perfectly. The worst part is the “smell”. It had an awful odor. The first cabinet I ordered did not smell. Usually I’m very pleased with my Amazon orders. This one I’m not happy. I’m not sure if I’m keeping it. If my original cabinet had been inferior I would never have ordered another.I guess order at your own risk and put on a mask for the strong odor.

I love everything about the dresser. I gave it four stars because I paid a handyman to put it together- I found it quite difficult. For someone like me it would have been impossible as I have two left hands and not handy at all. Other than that, I love the look and convenience these extra draws afford me in my home. I keep mementos, documents, batteries, candles, and flashlights in these draws and I like it very much. Highly recommended!

This appears to be pretty nice. We are about half way putting it together and I would highly recommend that the manufacturer label the boards and side pieces. That is what took the longest. So far we are into 2.5 hours. We just have the drawers to do. I’m hoping it works as well as it looks. I would recommend this as most of it is made in USA or Canada according to their literature.Update: This is a nice cabinet for sure. I have been using it for about a month and it is sturdy and nice deep drawers.

We knew this was going to arrive in a flat box and that it would have to be put together. My adult son is very experienced at doing this.But after he has it halfway put together and starts putting drawers in. We see that the drawers don’t even come close to meeting each other on the top or the bottom, huge gaps! we live in Hawaii so there’s lots of bugs and geckos, and I didn’t want things running in and out of his clothes, not to mention the sticky residue from ocean air. Could’ve gotten one with fabric drawers, much easier and cheaper, but they don’t keep things clean.Tried To return it to Amazon, and of course to get it returned, you have to take it all apart again And try to box re-box! Obviously, we wouldn’t have put it together if we’d known it would be so poorly designed and made out of such shody materials. So you can’t tell that nothing fits until you put it together and then once you put it together, you’re asked to take it all apart again and try to get it back in the box and tape up to get your refund. So my son opted to get a partial refund and then try to buy things to try to fix it. I would have preferred to send back. but it was a lot of work to get it put together and then have to take it apart again, so I guess we are stuck with it,it’s just ridiculous! It’s hard to get anything in Hawaii. I have to wait a long time and when it’s something like this that had to fit in such a small tall but narrow space there weren’t a lot of options, but I expected better than this!One of the most aggravating things about shopping online here and this is true of Amazon and other places, Home Depot, etc. you look and look to try and find something good that you can afford the shipping and that will come at some point and then after you make up your mind and you go to order, that’s when they tell you that it can’t be shipped to Hawaii. They have my address they know where it’s going to. Why doesn’t it say doesn’t ship to Hawaii right in the beginning? Why does it wait until you get clear to the purchase point not just add in the cart but purchase point before they tell you that it can’t be shipped there, very frustrating, Just makes a difficult process that much harder.

I bought one of these in September 2024 and a second April 2025. I’m disappointed to find that the design has been changed. The taller one on the right is the older model and I wanted an identical second. I’m not a big fan of the little skinny drawer at the top that seems to have replaced the full size drawer from my older model.Otherwise this is a great unit for the price. It’s sturdy and easy to put together. It’s helpful to have a drill or electric screwdriver to put it together but not a requirement. I built it by myself in about 2 hours. I think it’s even mostly real wood!

This item, once fully assembled, is built like a tank. Though, the workmanship is tacky (you'll definitely need to use the included brown marker to blot out all the imperfections in the seams of the faux wood), and some of the drawers themselves have nice gaps between them. (Something you won't see in nicer furniture.) Also, the instructions are very confusing, and with a gazillion parts/hardware, you may find yourself scratching your head on more than a few occasions when attempting to put this thing together. Every piece in the instructions is pictured, but virtually nothing is labeled. So much of the initial construction of the item left us wondering if we were even on the right track. I have included a pic of what this item should look like prior to placement of the drawers (to help anyone reading this who may be equally as confused as us), as well as a pic of the finished product. NOTE: We did, ultimately, discard parts we had no idea what to do with since pictures alone in the instructions were inadequate (in our minds) for us to use all the parts.
