WOW! I LOVED THESE AND HAVE TWO OF THEM TO SWAP OUT MY SPEAKERS AND AMPS

I needed a way to shut off the audio to a center speaker when using Bluetooth sources. (It's a complicated setup.) This did the job perfectly, and it's built like a tank. The switch on the front makes a resounding click. Not a wimpy device!

This switch was more expensive than others but specifically mentioned swapping amplifiers which is what I wanted to do. Now I can A/B compare two amplifiers instantly. Turns out there's astonishingly little difference between the four I tested, to my ears anyway. This could save you thousands. I'm happy I got this switch.

The new AV Receivers don’t play well with analog equipment so I needed to use 2 receivers with 1 set of tower speakers. I switch between 2 Integra receivers. One older Integra receiver dedicated to albums, better BASS, and the other new IAV Integra receiver for movies and CDs. A very slight difference, but happy with results. I tried every other scenario to avoid the switch, but didn’t work. I understand most high end audiophiles use separates. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I have to see how it holds up. Packaged very well and easy set up once I made 2 sets of banana speaker wires using 12- gauge copper speaker wire. I used Nakamichi banana connectors from Amazon.

Does exactly what it says. Well made and works great. Like others noted, it tends to lift off its feet when the weight of the wires is added. I put a weight on top of mine to keep it from moving. If this were my design, I would leave an empty area inside the chassis where metal shot, kitty litter or some other material could be added to stabilize it without adding weight to the unit for shipping. Make it half an inch taller and let me fill it with something to stabilize it!

I got this to switch between a tube amp and a solid state amp to one pair of speakers. It is well made and solidly built with nice connectors. It works perfectly and I notice no difference in sound quality. The one thing that might bother some people is the toggle switch which is very strong and makes a loud clack when using, but it feels like it will last a long time. This is the second Solupeak switcher I've purchased, the other being the U31 RCA switch box which I use for two turntables into one amp. Not cheap but they are worth the money in my mind and highly recommended.

Works great. Split B speaker outlet to two sets of speakers. Wire connectors on back are a nut with a hole in the post, they work very well.
