I use to buy these all the time with my mother and make hors d’oeuvres for Thanksgiving. Supermarkets don’t sell them anymore. I was lucky enough to find them on Amazon!! They are very expensive, however, when keeping traditions going through the holidays, we must do what we do. I use them as follows: Thin slices of ham or turkey, cream cheese spread on the slice, and a piece of canned asparagus rolled up. I think my mom got the recipe from Martha Stewart back in day. Not sure. But it’s really good!!!

Whadda mess!
These asparagus spears arrive completely trashed inside of the cans. No spear tops were intact and the rest of the spears were full of the remnants of the tops. Taste was fine. Spears are very slender and 95% edible (not woody). But never again will I order Roland Asparagus spears. Could they have been mishandled by Amazon? Dropped out of a 747 over the Rockies?

SCAM !!!!
Do not buy.. this is a scam. Only gave 1 star because 0 star isn’t an option. I ordered it to be delivered to my twin brother, who lives 5 hours away from me, for our birthday. It’s literally $40 for 1 can.. I thought it was a typo and there was more can than just 1 can. There were no reviews to verify the quantity. Very disappointed. And unfortunately because it’s a food item a refund wasn’t available. Very disappointed and embarrassing. I’m expecting this review to not be published. I guess will see
