Nice cut to fit filter!
Got this to replace pre-filter in Aer1 air filter. It can be washed several times, but its nice having new filter. I just cut to fit.

Could be packaged better
The filter comes vacuumed packed and needs to be washed in warm water to properly expand, then allowed to dry before use. It is folded over itself a few times.There is little dust or flaking of the carbon coating of the foam when handled, which is a good thing, though I would have preferred it just come in a tightly rolled package.

Great for the DIYer!
The media could not be loaded. I have a second hand paw pail, a convenient outdoor garbage can for dog poo. To keep the smell down, it uses carbon activated filters that are rather expensive and need to be changed every few weeks. Using this strip I was able to cut out 26 filters that should last me at least a year and a half. Great product. Easy to work with. Easy to cut. I just took the magnetic filter holder off of the pail and used it as a template with the filter pad folded in half and cut it out. I used the filter holder again to cut around the magnetic piece and the filters work perfectly. Once I installed it, it controlled the smell great in sunny 85° weather on the deck.

GREAT PRODUCT
This product is wonderful. Our pond's water was brown and cloudy; they said it had tanins and we needed the carbon charcoal. We didn't want the bags of it so this was perfect. We cut the right size we needed and put in the filter and it's only been 48 hours and we see a difference AND we see our fish once again!

Good filtering matial
Works well as a filtering medium, not sure there is enough charcoal in any of these impregnated foam type filters to last long. Probably best to combine this with activated charcoal.

Great filter fabric!
This is easy to cut to fin any project which requires a filter. ( I cut several so I could always have a clean-dry filter while another is washed.)
