If you don't trust the origin of the ground beef you buy at the supermarket, I recommend this grinder. It's really very good. I've had it for a year now and I don't regret it at all, it's still in excellent condition.

This meat grinder is awesome. I grind about 2-3 lbs for my projects and it effortlessly went through it in less than 10 minutes. I gave it 4 stars for the following reasons:1. The motor housing gets pretty warm while in use. I don't think I'd grind more than 5 lbs without letting the machine rest and cool off. Clean up is easy. Use caution when cleaning as some of the parts are plated and will pit or turn black if washed with anything other than hot water and mild dish soap.2. Putting the grinding attachment on is frustrating. Sometimes it slips right on, other times have to play with it.3. Trying to stuff casings was next to impossible. It may be my fault but I found it much easier to keep using my jerky cannon.4. The package only contains 2 grinding plates and one stuffing tube. I wanted more selection so I ordered a seperate plate kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QSYGM2G?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title. They fit perfectly, dimensions are 54mm diameter, 58mm across at the tangs with extra blade for $15.Conclusion: I would order this again! Perfect for home use where smaller batches of ground meats are preferred.

I only gave this one star because I had to, but it's useless garbage.I ordered this grinder, it was defective, so I had it replaced, but I no longer needed to use it at that time, so I didn't bother opening it until today, 2 months later, and it's the same thing. It's impossible to use, and there's no option to return it now.The instructions say to"Insert the grinding head into the controller unit of your meat grinder and rotate it counterclockwise to lock it in place"Problem is, it doesn't fit right to make that happen, as seen in the attached photos.It's supposed to insert angled to the right and rotate counterclockwise to a straight up position, but it inserts angled to the left, and rotates counterclockwise to a 90 degree angle, and doesn't lock in place, because the locking tab is at the 9 o'clock position, not the 12 o'clock position where the lock pin is.

When I first got it I thought it seemed like it was cheaply constructed but then I used on and its a quite powerful little tool. I mean so far I only did 3 batches of sausage but this thing really puts down. Its great for when you making 10-15lbs of sausage or ground meat and dont was to pull out the $1000 meat grinder and make a big mess. this thing cleans up in like 2 minutes. Its a no brainer if you looking to make your own sausage or ground meat at home. Please dont buy this thing and act or expect to be creating your own sausage buisness from home bc its not a commercial machine and gets pretty hot during use so you need to take care of it as you use it if you want it to last. Its like one of those mini air compressors that you can get years of good use out of if you treat it correctly.

This is very easy to use and easy to assemble.It saves us a lot of money to grind meat into beef partties rather than buying outside.Extra parts are also available online.
