Always have liked Black+Decker coffee makers.As with everything made now a days,nothing is as good or lasts as long as it used to when I grew up in the 70’s.This current model is working very well, though,and I would buy again.The following is for whoever designed the models that have the clock above the carafe.STOP MAKING THIS DESIGN! I bought one.The screen got covered in vapor bubbles and I couldn’t read the clock.Bought another thinking maybe I just got a bad one,but it also got vapor bubbles on inside of plastic cover over clock due to the steam rising from carafe.So I recommend buy any model from them,but ONLY the ones with the screen on the bottom.

I purchased this as a gift. He seems to be extremely satisfied with it says it makes coffee fast and it tastes good. It's easy to set up so that your coffee is ready the next morning. I bought one like this in the past and it lasted for quite a while before it went out. All of these go out eventually but some do last a lot longer than others. The Black & Decker seem to last quite a while last time so that's why I chose it again. It lasted over 2 years last time before I replaced it. I haven't had a leak problem with this brand, like I did with another brand. I like the way this one's designed because it takes up less space on the counter although you do have to lift the entire top to put your water and coffee grounds in it. So you need to be able to either pull it out from the spot it's setting in or have nothing above it so that you can open it freely.

There is nothing wrong with this coffee maker, design or durability or a coffee temperature. It is awesome. But the reason why I didn’t give it five stars is the coffee pot seems to turn off too fast for me. I don’t know exactly how long it stays on, but it’s way less than others that I have used. So if it takes you a while to drink your coffee, you may have to warm it up in the microwave. Coffee pot doesn’t leak as great taste and good capacity. It just needs to stay on a little longer keeping my coffee warm.

I don’t use this daily, but it’s held up well. I’ve had it for a few years. My only complaint is that it struggles a little with huge pots, but I don’t typically brew more than half a pot. It never leaks either, which I love. I used to have issues with my old coffee pot spilling and overflowing despite being filled well below the levels. Works great and is an affordable option.

I picked this because we had a black and decker for a long time. I didn’t want anything with lots of features and this is reasonably priced. this has the right amount of what we need . We can program it to “auto” but haven’t done that yet. The pot has the number of cups (water level) on the front of maker which I like . (Not inside)

I have been using this product for years. It is used daily and lasts about two years, sometimes a tick longer. Anyhow we had 27 months on our last one and the water tank began to leak. Went to Amazon, ordered a new one, price was the same as two years back and it was delivered between 5-8Pm the same day. So this morning made coffee in it with no issues. Build quality is good for the price point, Spillage does not exist unless the tank is overfilled and ease of cleaning would be that of any other coffee maker. Most certainly a good value in my book.

I like the coffee pot, works well. You can set it to turn on before you wake up which is a great feature. The size is very nice, slimmer than those I had previous and a life saver because my counter top is small. ONE GLITCH I need mention as that is why I took a star off - I brew 6 cups every morning, my spouse doesn't drink coffee, just me and my son. If you use the kraft to the 6 cup line then put it in the coffee maker you need add MORE water to get to the 6 cup line. This is not a game changer just something to be aware of when you set up your coffee. The coffee maker has a 12 cup capacity. Makes some noise in the morning but that gets my son out of bed so I'm happy with that.
