Extremely Durable
I got this bag because I wanted a durable backpack I can treat with indifference but that was also comfortable.Durable? Yes! The material is very high quality. I would say it was a lot heavier than I imagined (I am a weak, slim woman though) and I think this is due to the very durable material it is made out of. I don't know if it's because it is new, but the material isn't very adjustable due to how strong it is. For example, the draw strings are really stiff as are the zips but I am hoping this will loosen up with wear.Comfortable? Yes! It sits really nice and snug on my back and the adjustable straps are easy to manoeuvre. I went to the shops with it and was able to fill it with an entire basket of shopping, including heavy cans and tins. I walked home 20 minutes and had no discomfort issues at all.Front fastenings are a bit annoying to clip closed, especially when it's full. I tend to leave it flapping open because the draw strings are really stiff and I can't be bothered with the faff of trying to align the two magnetic clips but this is just me. When I do bother, they stay closed. Whether this mechanism withstands time, I can't say.The bag is very handsome! It is as described and I love the colours. (I ordered green)I would recommend :)

Great look
I absolutely love this bag, it looks fantastic in the green and its got great style to it. The bag is very comfortable to wear and has adjustable straps. It's very neutral, looks great and goes with almost about anything.I can cram in most of my stuff: i.e. Laptop, pens, notebook, diary, bike lock, bike cover, purse, water bottle, trainers. However, the bag isn't overly supportive so it can feel very heavy and may feel like its weighing you down when you overload it. It looks like a relatively good-sized bag but you can't fit everything in with ease.I also wouldn't recommend going out in the torrential rain with this bag, I bought a cover for mine. In light rain is fine, the rain rolls off the leather, but the rest of the bag I wouldn't say is waterproof. All in all its a great buy.

Manly bag
I needed a bag for work and originally purchased one that resulted in something very girly looking on my shoulders. should have known when my mum said 'that's a lovely bag.' What a mistake. I held it down by my side as I walked home so nobody would see this dainty (but lovely) bag near my face. Immediately returned it and remembered THIS bag I was considering buying instead while searching.Don't regret my decision. Rather than hang my head in shame I can hold it up high, throw an entire arsenal into the bag, sling this piece of kit over my shoulder, kick a grenade, take out a mob and burst into a blazing glorious run with a rescued woman and child in each arm and a combat knife between the teeth.Feels sturdy and very generous with space. Certainly able to hold a 1litre water bottle, flak of hot food and a coat with ample room to move. I really like the waxed leather flap that hangs over and I'm confident this will resist some rain if I get caught from time to time. Two thing I would have preferred is 1 - the drawstring pulling to be smoother (but maybe that would get better over time) and 2 - the size of the zipped pockets I find are too small, ideally it should allow a hand to comfortably fit inside and for me it's just too tight. Perhaps they are really only suitable for a pack of tissues or some small accessories... But for me it's not a big deal as I mostly use the main compartment.Comparing this to a similar style bag by Troop London, I'm tempted to say this is slightly overpriced at £54.99, but then you're getting a lot more leather on this one. Hopefully this will hold up over time (the stitching seems sturdy enough.) And if it does prove to be of similar durability and quality then size of those pockets aside I have no regrets.

Good, sturdy, roomy backpack.
Good, sturdy backpack which sits very comfortably. Lovely combination of waxed canvas and leather. The leather is very supple and I love the dull brass buckles. It's strong and looks built to last a long time. Can fit loads of stuff inside - I bought it for day trips out with the dog and it easily accommodates his very large food bowl, food, water flask and my lunch as well as purse, phone etc. I had wanted the green one but ordered this one as the green was out of stock, but the khaki is actually much nicer - more a mustard colour. Very happy with it.

Really nice but not worth the price!!
I love the look of this bag. It would be great for a schoolkid or average sized person. Unfortunately, I'm 6'4" and it looks tiny on me haha. It feels good, is just big enough to fit a large book or laptop into the back sleeve. To also have your lunch and a spare item of clothing packed in the front. The straps are the most vulnerable part. if they come loose, they can be lost easily in fact, mine came with one of the straps missing! So, I would have to say this bag is really nice but not worth the price I paid. I would say, it should be in the £30 mark.

Great bag. Well worth the money
Great bag. Well worth the money. It’s got bags of space inside and can fit loads of stuff in, and has a really big padded pocket for my other half’s laptop. The three other pockets are useful too. The leather top flap is really nice and will look great after a bit of wear. I think it’s made of a wax canvas as it seems quite waterproof. Am quite jealous and might buy one for myself!

Great bag depending on how you plan to use it
I picked this up for taking my 1 5.5" laptop, tablet, few peripherals, chargers, travel mug, 2x pencil cases (IIs used for coffee supplies) A4 folio and a few other pieces of Junk to work on a daily basis. This bag fits it all in with roomleft. It feels really sturdy is comfortable to carry.Whv I haven't given it 5 stars is it is a wee bit tight fitting the laptop under the lid well so may leak in the rain
