I’ve been looking for these for quite a while as apparently places like Home Depot and Lowes quit carrying them. The ones they now carry are a flat piece of plastic and when you put them on your furniture, they make an annoying loud “WOOOOOT” sound when you move your chairs in and out. These I purchased from Amazon are nice and quiet.Highly recommended!

Work great. Exactly what I needed on bar stools to help them slide easier on tile floors.

Great protection and easy to use. So much better than the felt pad because these do not gather dust and debris.

Used them on heavy kitchen chairs. Could have used bigger ones, but these are working fine.

We have tile floors these are quiet and glide across the floor. They are a 8 months old. They appear durable.

This was a replacement for an expensive piece of furniture. I was so glad when they arrived, it was exactly the same as the original on the furniture.

These have come in very handy to make furniture even. I have used these several times on furniture that I have refinished to make them not topple without having to adjust the base. They are easy to install and have worked great on all types of dressers that I have worked on.

I needed to replace one chair-leg glide, the other three were still in place. I could not find anything exactly like the old glides but these seemed close enough. Wrong!The floor where the chair is, is vinyl tile in a faux-fieldstone finish with irregularities. These chair glides are not "flat-headed" but dished—see photo—just enough to catch on the irregularities. That one chair-leg now doesn't move when I slide the chair, I have to lift the leg from contact with the floor in order to move it. Perhaps that seems a small thing but it is not, especially when getting up from the dining table, when one counts on being able to push the chair back to make it easier to arise.At first I thought perhaps I could solve the problem by removing the 3 old glides and replacing them with the new kind, but of course that would just intensify the "rooted-to-the-ground" effect. No, I have to buy new glides that are truly flat and replace the new one.The other aspects of the product are okay, it is easy to put on, driving the nail into the chair leg, and so far the glide has not come loose from the nail. But, in the classic Amazon Review phrase, "it has one simple job to do and it does not do it".On bare floors elsewhere in the house, that don't have the faux-stone texture, it seems okay, so if your bare floors are smooth, without texture, you'll probably be fine.
