the best day pack ever!
extremely fast delivery. we bought this backpack to replace an identical pack that we bought in the 1980's. this design is very durable and our old one just this year showed too much wear. the leather bottom is excellent and all the compartment are very hand for day hikes.

Lasts the full school year...that's saying a lot!
I think this is the first backpack that I've ever bought my son where it lasted from school start in August to school end in June.. He is so hard on backpacks. I usually have to buy a replacement by March. Not THIS backpack. The first one lasted until June and this one that I bought six months ago looks like it's going to make it too. I credit the reinforced bottom and maybe the Jansport name too. Either way, it's going to be our go-to backpack until he gets tired of the style.

Update: I have had this backpack for about 1 month and one of the leather straps on the zippers has broken. I wondered about how those would hold up and my suspicion was correct. I don't think I am going to send it back. I'll probably just replace it with some parachute cord. I bought this backpack as a replacement for my 23 year old Jansport!! The old one finally broke down along the bottom seam. So far I am pleased with the new version. The large compartment is a little smaller due to the laptop pouch but I don't have any trouble carrying what I need for work each day. I'll see how it goes next year as my backpack was always my "personal item" on airplanes. I used to be able to cram a lot in the backpack to save space in my carry-on suitcase. Hopefully the new one will work just as well!!

The bees knees
It’s the jansport classic, what else do you need to know. Every millennial remembers the whiteout designs, checkered shoulder straps…. This thing handles the rigors of elementary through high school, and keeps on truckin’ through college. You want something reliable yet stylish, functional and value based this is the one.

Lasts longer than a year
Bought this for my teenage son has had it for about two years now. Very durable. Zipper not broken once.
