This is the one you want
We decided to put a magnetic screen door up on our porch so our dogs could go in and out, but the bugs couldn't. My wife bought a slightly cheaper option that lasted less than a week before there were holes in it.I bought this one because it was heavier duty. It was just as easy to install, has stronger magnets so the door stays closed in higher wind, and, best of all, has lasted over a year with two large dogs going in and out of it daily. Considering the price of both doors that we bought, the other one was about $2 per day while this one has been $0.06 per day and dropping. It's dirtier than when we got it, but it shows no sign of wearing out.Spend a little more. This one is a better value.

Money well spent
Absolute game changer! This has worked out so well for our French doors. We are able to take advantage of the evening breezes and have no worries about pests getting through. It has been constantly used especially during the summer months and have had no problems with the product. The instructions & installation were simple enough that one could do it alone but another pair of hands would be useful. The adhesive strip has lasted well and the Velcro strip is strong enough to hold the screen in place. We have removed the screen to rinse off dust and simply reattached. It has definitely been money well spent.

Screen - 1, rambunctious dog - 0
I have purchased a few different screens similar to this product. Most have been very flimsy mesh that falls apart shortly after purchase, especially with use by our black lab. I am thrilled by the durability of this one! The mesh is VERY thick and sturdy. We have had this for about one week. Our dog paws at the door when he is ready to come inside. He has about 5 seconds of patience in him, so after that he will scratch a bit more vigorously. He is a 75 lb black lab, so he is certainly capable of causing some damage! The material still looks brand new. There are NO tears or signs of damage. I'm in shock! This quality is very high, considering the price of this product. If you have had similar experiences with flimsy screens being destroyed by pets, I encourage you to try this one!!

Gap
I've been being tormented by wasps all week to the point where I was scared to open my door. This screen gives me peace of mind and it an extra deterrent to keep my cats from thinking about escaping. My door is exactly 36×80 and there is more of a gap at the bottom and had to be installed lower on the top part than I'd like. There is sound proffing at the bottom of my door to keep out bugs and noise and that gives it an extra inch, so I wish they made a 36×82 because that would have been perfect for my needs (the closest they have is 38×82 but thats too wide). Overall now I have time to get my wasp spray ready and I'm not terrified everytime I open my door so I am happy. Peace of mind is priceless

Nice Product. A few installation tips.
I just received two different sizes of this product for my front and back door, so I can get good air flow in my apartment. The product seems to work well. It's not that complicated to install, but the instructions are from a non-native English speaker, so some things were a little confusing. After installing two, I have some tips for anyone that may read this.First. When you are measuring to see what size you want, be sure to measure the outside door frame. The mesh will adhere to the edges of the outside frame. If it is too small it is not going to work, and you can't trim it if it is too big.Tips on installing. Some of this is in the instructions, but not all. Before starting, hold the mesh up to the outside of the frame. make sure the sides reach the side of your door frame. And make sure that the bottom is slightly above the ground. You don't want to start installing and find it does not fit quite right.Make sure door frame is clean and dry before starting.1. Lay the mesh flat on the floor with the velcro facing up.2. Might want to trim the little white label now, because it is easier than when hanging.3. Magnets at both top and bottom may be a little curved. Bend them back so they lay flat.4. Take out the velcro tape and apply it your velcro on the mesh. There is a thick strip for the top, and a thin strip for the side.4b. I found it works best if I got on my knees on top of the mesh. Then I could hold the mesh down with my knee, and push away with my hand to make the velcro edge nice and tight, before applying the velcro strip. Do all 3 sides.5. Use a measuring tape to mark the center of your outside door frame.6. You want to make the center slightly higher. So undo the paper to expose the sticky side of the mesh tape at the top center of your mesh and using your center mark, stick it to your door frame. The instructions say slightly higher. I did mine about 3/8 inch higher?7. Undo the tape and do the rest of the top portion, angling down to the corner.8. Then do the sides. I found it best to do a little from each side, working your way down. If you do all of one side, you may find that you put it too far away, and you won't have enough frame on the other side. So do a little on each side. Making sure the mesh is pulled tight, but the magnet middle is staying together. Work your way down making sure the magnet stays together.9. Use the tool that is provided and run it along all the velcro, to make sure it is tightly sealed. They provide push pins that can help hold the mesh to the frame. You will see if these are necessary. Probably depends on your door frame, wind, and how often it is used?Works well. you can easily walk through and the magnets self seal back in place. One small thing I noticed. I have a metal door, and if it was only partially open, and their was a breeze, it attracted the magnets and did not allow the bottom to self seal. Won't be a problem without a breeze, or if the door stays fully open.

Magnets go the entire length of the opening.
This screen was very easy to put up. On the other ones we had they made a sound when the magnets will come together. On the screen, it is silent the magnets go all the way down the length of the screen and it does not let insects through the gaps as there are none. I’m definitely going to buy this screen next year. We love it. Also, we loved that we could get it to fit the door size.

Fair product but with some issues.
Basic materials of good quality but flaws detract from function. 1) Magnet strip sewn in very tightly and does not allow for movement to hang freely and close well. Also the magnets are not as strong as those I have encountered on similar door screens. 2) Velcro strip useless. Instead of hook and loop, both strips appear to be hook and do not stick together. Used staple gun to install. Were I not in Jamaica in dire need, I might have returned item and sought a better one. As it is I will try to make modifications later on so as to make do.
