The capsules are really nice. The only issue I had with mine is that the person who packaged my capsules accidentally sent a plastic bottom that holds the black gasket in place of one of the capsule lids. Because of this, I have 2 capsule bottoms that are unusable so I only got 18/20 capsules that I paid for. Its clear that these are packaged by a human so its understandable that there would be human error involved. I didn't bother returning the capsules though but I would have if I needed all 20 capsules. The capsules come in separate pieces (lid vs bottom) because of how hard it is to open a capsule once its closed. I had to open one and it was virtually impossible until I used a craft knife with a razor thin blade. They look great once your coin is installed. Please take time to ensure your capsule is clean and free of smudges/particles before closing the capsule because like I said, re-opening is possible, but not pleasant. The coins are a great fit dimensionally in the capsules. I recommend stretching the gasket over your coin and then subsequently moving both the gasket and coin into the capsule bottom piece. Its much easier that way and its hard to get the gasket around the coin perimeter if done while the gasket is still in the plastic bottom piece.

I have some g buffaloes 1 oz that I bought originally wrong size at first.. but looked the up via mint and this size was close but someone said to put gasket on first. That worked perfectly. They sealed up nicely no cracking and now each coin is protected in the capsule that is thin but worked great. After all that locked away. But at least I can see them. I feel better about my investment. Being safer and protected from air. Oh don't forget to use your white gloves handling coins of value. Body oils tarnish them.

The are by far the best coin cases that I've ever used. They are a PERFECT fit for the 1oz eagles. They are think and sturdy. Coin fits perfectly and it's the perfect protection for display.

The package contains one black lid tube and 20 Air-Tite capsules with 32mm black foam rings. These are Model H capsules that fit most of the 32mm diameter bullion coins, including: 1 oz. Gold Eagle, 1 oz. Gold Buffalo, 1 oz. Platinum Eagle, US Half Dollars (1794 to 1836), 1/2 oz. Silver Rounds, 1/2 oz. Liberty Dollar, 1 oz. Gold Kangaroo, 1 oz. Gold Nugget, 1 oz. Australian Lunar Gold, British (and Irish) Silver Half Crown, 1 oz. Gold Britannia, 1 oz. Gold Sovereign, One Canadian Dollar (1968 to 1986), 1 oz. Gold Panda, Fiji Taku 1/2 oz Silver, 1 oz. Gold Krugerrand. The capsules are easy to assemble: once you have inserted the coin into the foam ring and then the ring into the bottom half of the capsule, you will just need to press the two halves together until they stop moving. The capsules I received were slightly dusty, which is not fun when you are dealing with bullion coins. My coins didn't rattle at all inside of them. They can be easily opened using a sharp blade. The tube has a black lid, which I like more than the red one, and is made of cheap plastic; mine also had a few visible scratches on it. The capsules fit in it perfectly and, once closed, the tube can't be easily opened by pulling: you will have to also turn the lid.

Definitely air tight. The tube is very thin plastic but does the job and looks nice. Excellent customer service!

I have no idea why, but it seems almost impossible to find a 32 mm coin capsule with a black insert that is adjustable to different coin sizes. I currently need to purchase these, and then purchase 46 mm capsules from another seller. Then take the inserts from the second seller and use them for the first sellers capsules. Am I missing something?

Fantastic for the purpose of long term storage for gold coins. Just don’t do what I did and seal them up without coins in, they are tough to reopen.
