I seldom use sunscreen because it's just a hassle to rub it on and then have that sticky oily feeling all day so I like to wear long sleeve shirts instead. And what's great about this shirt is it has a hood to protect my head, ears and neck, and I just use a hat over it to shade my face.The thin material makes it comfortable in the summer, as opposed to a thick cotton shirt. This stuff is very stretchy and soft, no resistance to any movement whatsoever. It does dry fast if you're in a dry climate, but it also gets wet fast if it starts raining.Which brings me to a little hack in dry climates with a shirt like this. And this is for dry climates only, if it's hot outside, soak the entire shirt with water and wring out the excess then wear it.This process will keep you cool as the water evaporates, and just keep a spray bottle around and keep wetting the shirt to keep you cool. This shirt is the perfect material to do this. It's the same concept as an evaporative cooler so this only works in dry climates, in humid areas not so much.The face gaiter is seldom used but is great when you want to cover your face from mosquitos. But for the most part it's a little tight around my nose so it can be uncomfortable if used for a long period of time.Although I don't use it often, I like the little strip of material that goes over your thumb so the sleeves don't ride up your arm. It's a nice option to have, but it also doesn't get in the way if you don't want to use it.I really like the pattern on this shirt because it hides stains really well. But it's pretty easy to clean, I came across some engine grease and stained part of the sleeve, I just dabbed some laundry detergent on the greased area before putting it in the wash and it came right off.I chose this lighter white pattern because it stays the coolest, as opposed to dark colors that absorb heat. Overall if I'm going to be out in the sun this is one of my go to shirts. I most Definitely recommend.

Very comfortable fabric and really appreciate the stretch. I'm 5'11'' 240 lbs and got the extra large and it is very breezy, almost too big in the torso but the arms are the right fit. I really appreciate the extra length in the torso, no chance of butt crack showing when bending over. Although the sleeves are longer than my T-Rex arms need, the cuffs keep them from sliding down my hands without being annoyingly tight. Can also push the sleeves up and they stay in place without being tight. They sewed the hood into the collar differently than most shirts and this makes the hood not pull against my throat when hanging back. KK did a great job designing this shirt and it impressed me enough to provide a review. I'll be buying another.

I use this for kayaking and love it. Very comfortable, good fit, good quality.

The hood is entirely too bigIt's rare for me to find a 4X tallfishing / swimming shirt.I'm built like a football lineman.This shirt worked out well.The pattern and color is high quality.(Several other shirts I've tried were not representative of the pictures that displayed the product.)Keep in mind that I've only had a couple of visits to the lake consecutive on a Saturday and Sunday so this is not a long term review.I haven't even washed it yet to see how it holds up.I bought this particular shirt to go swimming in because I sunburn easily here in Texas.However I did fish in the same lake on the same days for about one hour while standing in waist high water before both of my swimming sessions.The oversized hood constantly slid down over my eyes while fishing.At first I was also annoyed because the sleeves seemed too long but it was because I was ignorant. When I used the thumb holes while casting the slightly longer sleeves in conjunction with the thumb holes kept the sleeves from riding up my forearms but gave enough slack to not hinder my casts.I was repeatedly casting to deeper water off a sandbar for approximately one hour each day with no sleeve related problems.So if you're swimming in this shirt the sleeves are a tad bit long but if you are casting while fishing it works fine.Because it's hard for me to find a properly sized fishing / swimming shirt that is this quality I'm willing to pay a tailor to adjust the size and fit of the hood.Overall I am happy with this shirt and I already ordered another color without the neck gator.

Have every color, by far my favorite fishing brand. Incredible quality to the point the reasonable prices don’t make sense.. they could easily overcharge like Huk or PFG etc but they don’t. I have tackle bags, sunglasses, all the fishing equipment but tried one of these, now own every color and swear by their clothing. 👍🏼

I already have one and decided to order another in a different print. For size - I am 6ft and about 245lbs and a XL fits solid. 2x (my other) is a little long for my liking but still great. Highly recommend. Have worn this surf fishing on a numerous occasions in high temps. Kept me cool, dry and comfortable. Durable for sure!

Light weight and keeps the sun off. Comfortable material that breathes well. I’ll get more of these next summer.
