OK. This is the second one I bought and it just broke with very little pressure! I reviewed this pontoon latch after the first purchase and have it 3 stars thinking it was a fluke. My wife broke it docking the boat. This time I put a little pressure on it and it snapped like a twig. I wouldn't buy another one if the manufacturer paid me! What a piece of crap!!! Save ur money.

cheap made plastic broke when dog jumped on gate should have bought the stainless steel one; . this one is more for looks not worth the money or the installation agrivation you have to drill a large hole in frame to install dont buy go with steel gate latch

This was a replacement for original breaking, design was different, the material is not as thick as original, but it will work, only complaint was screw provided was not as long as needed had to provide screw that would work.

These are used to replace broken or severely warped door hinges on a 10 year old pontoon boat. Even fit the original bolt pattern, so no drilling!

This part is not as rigid as the part it replaced. It does the job, but it doesn't lock into place anywhere near as nicely as the original part.

I replaced all of the ones on my boat. These fit exactly! I reused the screws from the old catches as they were longer and slightly larger. The new ones are self adjusting to the frame thickness which makes them super easy to install. Thank you for a good design at a reasonable price!

Installed fine. Had to use my oem screws . The 2 included were not long enough.

I just replaced the old latch with this latch. It works. Nothing exciting. The new one may break like the old one over time. If that happens, I will design another solution.
