These feeders are awesome. The cover is big enough to help keep the seeds, birds and feeders dry. In addition to that, they actually hold quite a bit. I use half gallon pitchers to fill them up. My old feeders that were pretty large kept falling apart when the squirrels would jump on them. On that note I gave hung them with spinner hooks, because I can see the squirrels getting on them, spinning them around and having them undo the screw hook and then they would fall to the ground. Other than that I don’t see that as a problem with these. I don’t think they are bear proof though, so I will be taking them down at night, but they hold a lot and are very sturdy. I would recommend them for sure.

I really like this bird feeder. I like that you can put 2 different types of bird feed in it. You can see which ones the birds like best! Mine like best the seed with fruit in it which I figured they would. I have 2 sets of bluebirds coming to it. It also holds a lot of birdseed. I like that the top protects the birds when it is raining. But now I kind of wish I got one with a flat top because the one I had before had one and they would sometimes perch on it if there were a lot of birds on the feeder, then drop down to the feeder.

In general, this feeder is really cute, holds a lot of food, and most importantly my birds like it. Unfortunately, the birds that I was hoping wouldn't like it (the hordes of doves) still love it and figured out how to land on the perch after a few weeks. Still trying to figure out a solution to that. It is a cute and functional feeder but just know, smart doves can still figure this one out.

This is a well made bird feeder. All metal and good weight for those windy days. Just hoping the metal base doesn’t get too hot for the birdies in the summer heat. Two separate compartments, one for smaller seeds and one for sunflowers is an excellent feature. Attracts more birds. A beautiful and functional feeder. Very pleased with purchase. Thank you!

Zippy the cat spent about seven days of staring out the window wondering how a bird feeder loaded with sunflower seeds could be defective …On day eight the activity started and Zippy said the birds and squirrels had huge smiles! …Great product

The media could not be loaded. I’m fairly happy with this style of feeder. I have two hanging near the house. Easy to refill, not wasteful, fully accessible by all the birds it is designed for. Only thing I’d point out to prospective buyers is take note of the size of mesh screen on both sides. This will dictate what size seed to use. Strangely, I fill both sides with black oil sunflower seeds, and the small mesh side always empties faster than the larger mesh side (regardless of which side is facing either direction).eta: Early May 2025 I went to refill one of my feeders, and discovered the paint coating in the tray part is already deteriorated and may have to be repainted. So that part did not hold up to expectations. Otherwise I still like and enjoy these feeders.

Perfect Feeder. Purple and house Finches. Tufted Titmouses, Black capped Chickadees, Cardinals galore! The duel mesh compartments is great for the different varieties of birds.

How funny!! I have the same EXACT picture as the picture on here. Not purposely. I didn't realize it until now. The male cardinal & male house finch that Come here every day, eat together often throughout each day & I thought it was so cute & took pics of them together in different places. (Unfortunately this 1 is blurry & far away)..But I thought that was hilarious & awesome 😄Very true advertisement here 👍🏼
