I love this book. I’m not in love with every item, but there are at least 4 I plan to knit. I’ve already done the double-breasted cardigan. I am not an expert knitter. The only way I could knit such complex patterns is by following such detailed, row-by-row instructions. Each item has instructions and photographs that go over several pages. I wish I had something this detailed for baby clothes but it looks like this “author” only publishes for dolls.

I love this book. I don't have a doll or even know a little girl who has a doll that the knitted clothing in this book will fit. but I bought it and the other book that goes with it any way. I love to knit and the patterns are so lovely and easy to knit up. I figured I twould do what I always do which is make some of the clothing, put it away and wait til the right person comes along to give it to. You cannot go wrong with this book. The patterns are easy to understand and they knit up quite quickly. I also appreciate the fact that she uses readily available yarn that you can find in any store. If you llove to knit as much as I do and are looking for some new patterns for your dolls, I recommend this book. In fact, I recommend both books. They are both great!

Very few designs I could use. It was only one pattern shown in many colors not different hats, the whole thing was just showing this pattern made up of different colors! I thought it was going to be a book of patterns! My mistake! Not what I expected!

Again, these knitting books are SO easy to follow! My biggest problem is putting down my needles to take care of household chores and sleep!!!The mom of the little girl I'm making these doll clothes for had an American Girl doll when she was little and if she's asked me once, she's asked me a thousand times "why didn't you make these outfits for me when I was little?"They are treasures to make and the instructions are very clear and concise to follow. I must have over sixty different doll clothes' books to select from. I'll be doing this for a long, long time. Friends of mine have already asked me to make outfits for their daughters and granddaughters!

Love this book! Have knitted several outfits for Journey Girls, and they are adorable!!

I gave this as a gift to my daughter that makes doll clothes and is a beginner knitter. She is very excited to get started. There are complete instructions with projects for beginners or the more advanced knitter.

I love the patterns; they are difficult enough to keep it interesting, but not so challenging to be frustrating. I like that inexpensive yarns can be used; who wants to spend a bunch on doll clothes? Only problem I had was some mistakes in the patterns themselves that I easily caught.

I love this book.Very cute patterns for 18 inch dolls.The patterns are the best I have ever used.Very easy to understand & easy to knit.I also like that the patterns use worsted weight yarn.Easy to find and also I have plenty of this yarn in my stash. I would love to see another pattern book like this as I have made several of the outfits.Love this book.

What a great little book, lots of wonderful patterns, beautiful clothes. I have already done a jumper and a hat, they look gorgeous. It makes me want to play!I love the way the jumpers are easy to fit on the doll as they open at the back with a row of buttons. They are easy to knit, the explanations are clear and simple and the results are stunning. I have already impressed family and friends and I can't stop knitting now, I want to do them all!

These patterns are clear and concise. The photos are lovely, what else do you want in a knitting book! Can't wait till the next one comes out! I have some very well dressed dolls!
