Survived a wreck!

The color of this is absolutely stunning. The satin is so beautiful and I almost disappear at night with it on. It was a little tricky at first, but you definitely want a heat gun then it stretches so well!! I put this on my motorcycle and it stuck to all the curves with no problem. When it comes to the durability, it is phenomenal. I wrecked this bike and it flipped over a fence on a 94 degree day. Let me tell you what was still perfectly on. I dont know what this is made of but it stayed completely on my bike and even the parts that went flying. I will definitely be buying this again when I rebuild. You cant beat the quality for this price.

I do not recommend for a first time wrap

If you don’t know the material you will have a hard time the air release sucks so you have to go in section do not pull off whole back paper and expect it to be like Avery or 3M I wrap cars at a custom shop and this material is by far the hardest I worked with in other word what I’m saying is it’s a good material for those who know how to work with it if not just spend the extra on 3M or Avery hoped this helps

Failed solo project :/

Long story short - This vinyl is easier to maneuver in small surface areas. For larger ones (ie: car roof or hood), you will need a heat gun to remove some of the wrinkles. Also, I recommend having a second set of hands to assist in larger surfaced projects. Even after I rolled it out overnight, I expected it to be a bit more malleable and was met with a decent amount of resistance.-----So I purchased this with the intention of sticking it to the roof of my '14 Ford Focus (vinyl wrap roof idea) to "upgrade" the look of my car - most places around me charge 250-300 for a process that seems so simple, so as a 5'3" woman, I really wanted to show them who's the boss (... and also spend 1/10 the cost asked by these shops). I found a YouTube video that I watched meticulously over 5 times, demonstrating that it could easily be a solo project with no usage of a heat gun. Side note, they used Avery vinyl but I chose this brand (can't remember why now).I confidently decided to tackle my project one afternoon, only to be hit by an unnecessary amount of wind gusts (they don't tell you to check the weather app before starting these projects). My spirit wasn't shattered quite yet, so the next morning, I geared up for attempt 2.0. I measured, once, twice, five times - I used my magnets to hold the vinyl in place. Equipped with my little kitchen stool, I mustered up the courage to start exposing the adhesive, as my YouTube friend had demonstrated with ease. I watched the video so much that I was even coaching myself with the words from the video - start in the back, place your magnets back after you stick it. Once it's all sticking, use your squeegee, starting from the middle, and working your way out in the same direction, to avoid wrinkles. Sounds easy enough right? Right...Not sure if it's the length of my arms or even my poor upper arm strength, but I could not, for the life of me, get it to lay flat throughout the entire roof. There were wrinkles that I tried to pull out, but.. they simply would not cooperate. I even considered leaving them but knew it didn't look great - trust me, I insisted for about 30 minutes... relocating my stool over and over. At a point, I got so frustrated, I ripped it off and dumped it in the trash. Now I have 1/3 of a wrap and nowhere to put it, though I may use it to create some lighter accepts on the car or even the interior... though in all fairness, I just might suck it up and pay for it at this rate. Pride's been hurt a smidge.

Awesome to work with nice finished look to it.

First time working with a satin-matte vinyl. Hubby wanted to black out his 2022 Ram 3500. Vvivid is my go-to vinyl for ‘difficult’ jobs (like grills). I usually plastic dip these but wholly crap!!! It would take me a week (and I'd have to rent a front-end loader to help hold his bumper lol) just to get his grill off to do it!!!Vvivid’s black matte satin black is really nice to work with. Thicker than I thought it would be but it isn't a problem and it conforms nicely with heat. Like anything they make, it is DYI-friendly so it's repositionable with less tack until heated (key point there to the folks that claim their vinyl doesn't stick). One BIG caveat to satin vinyl (I forgot with my first piece I layed)… DON’T HEAT AND PULL TOO FAR! You'll end up redoing the section because of stretch /fade marks in the vinyl. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️… (oops) Be gentile and ‘relax’ the vinyl into curves and recesses with heat. It'll do it. Have faith in it.The finished look is outstanding. I'm not done as I have to do his truck a few hours a day (at night) when hubby gets home from work so it's a slow process on a HUGE chrome grill. I think the finished product is going to look amazing and I can't wait to add the pictures!Although I do like matte and satin finishes I personally wouldn't choose it for myself. However, after working with this black and seeing it on my hubby’s truck, I've had a change of heart. 😉Highly recomend this product. Very nice silky satin finish. 👌🏻

Tried others with no success, this was the only one that worked for me

Tried other wraps, most recently one from 3m. They all were impossible to put on, itd stick to itself and you couldnt get the crinkles out evem with heat. This wrap was the only one that worked for me, heat would get any wrinkles out and it went on pretty easy.

Great finish if you are looking for looks. DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING THIS WITHOUT EXPERIENCE.

The matte satin finish is amazing, and the color came as expected. The issue i had mainly during wrapping is the adhesive is REALLY STRONG. If the adhesive side touches the car for more than 5 seconds, it will stick stick onto the car. Glassing it is a huge huge pain in the cheeks. The vinyl is also incredibly thicker than what i expected it to be. The bubbles are really hard to get out too. If you try getting the air out, 9/10 there will be a huge wrinkle left. in conclusion, vinyl looks great, but it’s really hard to apply and use.

Horrible quality

This vinyl is way too thick and lacks stretch - even with ample heat it won’t stretch and it’s nearly impossible to tell when you’ve applied enough or too much heat. Also, they ship the product with tape that stains the vinyl surface so if you don’t have a bunch of extra material you’re stuck with the ugly result. Should have listened and gone with a real brand like Avery.
