Desktop Computer Power Switch,LITROK External Remote Start PC Motherboard Power On Off Switch Button Extension Cable

I used this to replace my case's power button when it stopped working. Didn't feel the effort of ripping the case apart to look at the cables was worth it. This install took about 2 minutes and I've got it 3M'd to the underside of my desk, so all I do is hit that as I sit down and my computer is booting in no time.Given the price and gimmicky nature of products like this, I was a bit worried about longevity, but I've had this for like 3 years now and it's held up without issues. The cable length is maybe 3.5 feet, certainly long enough to mount the switch just about anywhere you'd need it to reach around your computer set up.Not sure if the switch is hot-swappable, but the keycap is and I put my favorite artisan on it.

I installed this under the lip of my custom desk. My PC is located on the opposite side and out of reach unless i want to walk around the desk every time. This works great and the included adhesion pads are sufficient at holding the button sideways. There is a slight delay between pressing the button and the system turning on. it could very well be my system though. This was the cheapest quality Key at the time of purchase. The material is nice and the key is quality. The changeable switch is awesome for the future as well if I end up having a different use case for it.Install was a breeze with zero issues.

The 2-pin splitter makes this unit ideal for dual use - it allows the option to also use the case power button in addition to the button unit itself.I was lucky enough to have a motherboard that has 2 sets of power LEDs so I can keep the power indicator on the case active while powering the button unit. Btw, the power is not necessary. It's only there as additional bling for the RGB rainbow barf.I take 1 star away because it does not come with any cable retention unit. Instead, the power cable just sticks out of a random case port. You'll need caution to ensure that you don't jerk the cable and rip the 2-pin connectors off the mother board pin headers.

I had switched to a standing desk and needed something to make turning on my computer reasonable from a moderate distance. My desk itself is 98 inches and my computer is around 50lbs with water. Using a wireless starter was out of question because my vertical gpu and riser would not allow anything else into a PCI slot to do so. Cable lenght on this switch was more than enough. This honestly is a lot more reasonable. Is it another wire out of your computer? Yes, but another small one doesnt really matter when you have several others. The adhesive it comes with (small circular one) has held up well for the last few months. Originally I simply had it on my desk next to keyboard but I found my self pressing by accident on several occasions.The key itself appears to be a cherry blue (relatively loud click), but since it is something not intended to be pressed often it can be forgiven. Wiring itself is simple with a nice little adapter so you can keep your case's switch attached too. I personally do not use the LED lines and have just taped them off with a small bit of electrical tape. Overall, satisfied with this purchase and will buy another in the rare event it breaks (though in fairness its pretty easy to fix).TL;DRIts a switch for power and it works.

This is a great product and a lifesaver. My brand new PC build had the power button break after a couple of weeks and I dreaded the thought of disassembling the whole PC and RMAing the case just for the stupid power button… looked for options and found this! Perfect solution. The button is very well made and is like a keyboard key, is the best way I can describe it. They also give you about a mile of cable in case you want to mount the button anywhere on your desk. Really well made and great product!

My PC cases power button is on the side opposite the viewport, so I was reaching around to press the power.This has a nice long cable, thin enough to fit though most small holes in the back of the PC. The switch feels nice and the light is a little bright, however I plan on mounting it under my desk so it should provide some nice lighting.Honestly, the hardest part of the install was seeing how much dust I needed to clean out of my PC :(Great product!

Switch works as intended and the cable is very long so you can put the button on your table instead of near the case. I gave this 3 stars is because the LED is very annoying, I wish it had just one color but it flashes like it's chrismas. I had to reopen the case and disconnect it to keep my sanity. Also, the base of the button is a bit too tall, doesn't look good to have it sticking out of the table. I wish the made it shorter.

I love this button, it's fun to use, it's fun to keep it in a secret spot. The quality of the button is good enough the cable is long enough to run under or over a desk. The key is RGB it's like a pulse, but if you're trying to keep it in a secret spot I don't recommend connecting the RGB pin because you'll easily see it from the flashing lights. The only complaint I have is the pins are very very thin if you accidentally move it or yank it the wrong way chance are they'll break, but other than that its alright. I recommend it.
