This is a cheap sling but provides decent support while showering after rotator cuff surgery. The best part is the easy adjustment and use of a sturdy clip rather than velcro for providing a secure fit. You can trim the excess strap if desired once you have found your correct adjustment. I have used this several times in my firsweek after surgery and am very satisfied with my purchase.Tip: Try supporting your arm on top of two or more pillows stacked on your bed as a way to put your sling on and off on your own. You need to use your good arm to support and move your healing arm, but the pillows help immensely.

This sling is beautifully designed for the highest comfort of the person wearing it, and it is the easiest I have ever encountered for the caregiver as well. It washes up beautifully, and is nearly dry after the final spin cycle in the washing machine. It works very well in the shower, and weighs very little more once it is wet. This sling is well constructed and durable. For those concerned about the mesh leaving a pattern on the skin of the user, the mesh is small enough that it leaves no marks on the skin, yet is very breathable. The neck strap cushion is also very thoughtfully designed. Tried one, bought a spare!

I originally bought a different brand that didn’t work for me. The strap and the part that holds the arm were too short. This particular one worked great. I also like the snapping clasps rather than just relying on strictly Velcro. It might seem like an insignificant feature, but if you’ve a had an injury or surgery you know how conscious you are about re-injuring yourself with a sling that has the potential of failing. I purchased this strictly for showering and it’s perfect for that task. It’s easy to put on solo, it dries quickly, and the clasps are strong. I haven’t had it long enough to judge its durability but the stitching seems solid. The cushion for the neck strap is nice and thick but I removed it for my needs since I only need to wear it long enough to take a shower. The padding would take too long to dry between showers. I’m pleased with it thus far and highly recommend it.

I had two shoulder surgeries in 4 months and this sling really helped me get thru the summer months. Nice and light and airy. I’m a big guy at 6-1, 275 and was worried it would be too small but it fit fine and gave just enough support where I needed it. The shoulder strap it plenty wide and has a nice pad. The snap release is a must have. The only gripe would be the strap does slip a little in the buckle and it would be nice to have one that stays put once it’s adjusted. But for the price it’s a great sling.

I am 6'3 and broad so my statements on size are for larger frame people.Strap: I have about 11 inches of strap extension left, so the strap length is possibly even excessive. The strap is wide so it feels okay on the shoulder.Sleeve: Length is good. the mesh goes partly onto my palm. The strap is just hand side of my wrist so it slightly supports the hand directly. I find that I can use the thumb strap but do not always need to do so.I laundered the sling before I wore it and it held up to the laundry cycle just fine. I bought this one specifically for use in the shower. It works very well for that. However, note that the strap is "heavy duty" and takes a while to dry. This could also do well for hot days due to the mesh, but it is literally 30 degrees outside right now so I was unable to test that.

This sling fits better than any other. It’s already 100F every afternoon and the mesh allows air flow. I’m going to order another one in white as well.

I love this sling. I’ve worn it several days before writing this review. It is so much cooler than the sling I was given after my surgery. It supports my arm well and has a soft neck guard so that it doesn’t scratch my neck. Highly recommend for summer.
