Perfect size for trout
Perfect size for Mouse Tails and Powerbait. - the hooks are light enough that the mouse tails and powerbait will float (these will sink with bigger hooks).I use a bullet weight to sink the line - and a 12 inch leader with mouse tails on these hooks at the end of the leader - and the mouse tails will float about 12 inches off of the bottom.I've caught quite a few trout with these.

Tiny but strong
Haven't have time to tie any flies, but used them with soft plastic larvae and ant lures. Caught quite a few bluegill and several trout. Got hung on a few submerged snags, but pulled free with no bending or breaking the hooks. Good hooks!

Order a size up from what you normally use
I normally tie on Tiemco TMC100 hooks, and the size of these F100 hooks don't match up with the TMC100 hooks. The size 20 of the TMC100 hook is the same size as these Size 18 F100 hooks.I did a bend/break test on both the XFISHMAN and Tiemco hooks, and they both snapped at about the same pressure. The points are sharp on these, and the barbs are well formed. For the price they seem like a good value, especially if you are getting started in fly tying and want some cheaper hooks to practice on.

Super perfect
Super Perfect for what I do I usually don’t use cash net to catch bait fish so I use single small hook to catch smaller tiny itty-bitty minnows around the lake so I can catch bigger fish and this hook is perfect for what I do And yes I will buy it again Awesome!!!!!!!

Quality hooks great price
Great hooks for the price or any price for that matter. Razor sharp already buried one in the tip of my finger so I can also attest to the barbs being extremely effective. Ouch. Would buy again
