Works Perfectly
I was skeptical to buy this at first since there were no reviews. I have an old house and I need to manually water my grass. I've always wanted an automatic timer but I do not have easy electrical access. I found this solar model and the battery powered model and I opted for the solar. Set up was pretty easy, all you need are basic wrenches. You do have to wait for about 2-3 hours for the solar panel to charge the battery to turn the unit on. Programing wasn't too difficult. This also has a setting to manually water your grass for a set amount of time as well.I would buy this again in a heartbeat. No more having to remind myself to water the grass and setting timers to turn the valve off.

works very well, my 2nd unit
this is my 2nd unit and 6th unit overall, it worked very well , battery kept with only solar power the whole time saves hassle of installing wireless and risk of electric shock, lots of options (you can schedule up to 4 times a day and select which day of the week to apply to).this is a replacement for my one of my first unit which I install 4-5 years ago. in my book, anything lasts over 3 years is a win so i'm gladly replaced it. the issue with the first unit is the lcd screen turn blue/black , although the unit still turns on at the scheduled time, i cannot adjust the timing so i figured i just replace it. the replacement worked flawlessly.

Easy to install and operate
Quite easy to install and operate. We bought two of these, but none of them came with instruction. However, we find it easy to figure out. One button the cycle through the different settings, two buttons to adjust it up and down, and a seperate manual control. Just make sure you set the current time first and go from there.

So far, so good!
Went in with no problem, careful not to over tighten. Programming is fairly straightforward. Manual operation is simple. So far... solar has plenty of power to operate (we’ll see when winter comes!) the 3/4” valve on my champion vacuum break. Have only had them (we have 2) in for a few days.

Love that it is solar
I don't have a picture yet. I am having trouble getting this timer install because I can't find a valve that will fit with it. I read the review of the gentleman that have a picture and he said it was easy to installed. I ordered a valve that is 3/4 but it doesn't fit. So I don't understand why it states that it is a 3/4

Bad Labeling which informs you the wrong compatible parts
I will never know how this functions because the information on the box says it is compatible for various brands to fit with a manual anti siphon valve and yet that's exactly what I bought but it doesn't fit! Now Im out nearly $70 for this part that I cannot use or return because Im past the deadline by two weeks that I spent looking for a compatible valve!

The unit does not retrofit any standard anti-siphon valve. ...
The unit does not retrofit any standard anti-siphon valve. I tried all and none worked - wrong bolt pattern and internal mechanism not compatible with sprinkler valves.
