We love it
Wonderful fireplace we love it. It goes in our small apartment perfectly gives great ambience to our living room. We use it every day as it is winter time. Easy to set up and my husband loves the remote.

I Love It!!
The media could not be loaded. To be honest I don’t need it for the heating function because that’s not a problem where I live, I was wanting it more for ambiance for the bedroom. It’s beautiful, the perfect size for my bedroom and I love it. You can adjust the brightness of the fire, you can adjust the temperature of the heat, or just not have the heat on at all like me, you can set a timer to it so it can shut off after you fall asleep, and it’s easy to assemble. It took me more time finding the instructions than it did to put it together. *NOTE. This comes in 3 boxes (2 boxes inside of a bigger box) and the instructions are inside the bigger outer box. It’s exactly what I wanted and I’m very happy, especially with the price.

Great. Love it. Just what I was looking for.
It is great. We hung up our TV but then realized we wanted something underneath. The size is awesome. We have floor to ceiling windows and did not want anything blocking our view. We wanted something smaller and opted for this. I was originally nervous that the TV was bigger and thought the fireplace should be longer than the TV.There is minimal noise besides when you initially turn it on. And there is a smell that goes away after a few minutes. I only noticed it a few times. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. I think it looks great as well.My only “complaint” is you really don’t feel the heat unless you are directly sitting in front of the fireplace. When I am sitting on my couch about 6 feet away I don’t feel it. The description does state it heats about 333 square feet. I don’t feel it. Look wise it looks great. We think that it does assist in warming up our apartment but I was hoping I’d be able to feel the heat hitting me. A lot of times I like to just turn on the light setting for the ambiance.

Great Value!
I'm so happy with the size, charm and warmth of the fireplace! Great product for a reasonable price and super cute in one corner of my dining room to add just a bit more warmth to the area.

Seemed fine but I received a defective unit, so I returned it
Well packaged and arrived pretty quickly. Instructions were easy to follow (piece of cake if you've ever built an Ikea dresser/bookcase - so if you haven't, be warned!). Quality was fine for the price, maybe a step down from Ikea quality in my opinion (ends weren't finished quite as nicely, some uneven paint application, corner pieces weren't as snug as they could have been). However, it didn't take long to realize I received a defective item! I got to step 4 in the instructions when I noticed piece #2 was essentially backwards. The front facing side with the decorative molding should be longer lengthways so it hides the side pieces, unfortunately that was not the case - because of where the holes were drilled, I couldn't just flip the piece either (see pic of item vs. instructions).I'm disappointed but not the end of the world. This seemed like a decent item - based on the price ($200 range) and reviews I knew it wouldn't be amazing. I was willing to put up with the less-than-perfect quality, but I knew the backwards base would drive me crazy. It could probably be painted but I decided to return it instead. Please note I did not get to the actual heating unit stage of assembly, so I have no comment on that, nor do I have any comment on how well it functions as a heater! My complaints are 100% cosmetic regarding the frame.

Buyer BEWARE
First thing I noticed is that the shipping box did not look big enough. After opening, I realized why. Be prepared for a LOT of assembly. I could not believe for 240 bucks I had to assemble this thing. Honestly, it would have to be cheaper to glue the thing together at the factory vs shipping all the "wood" and hundreds of pieces of hardware and styrofoam and bags and bubble wrap. The wood finish is awful. You would have to go out of your way to do this poor of a job. It's covered in blobs of finish in some spots and none in others. Also, it is NOT the heater in picture. I've seen kids create a more realistic fire with a cardboard box and construction paper. The assembly instructions are in the back of the book/manual for those that said there were none. They are actually pretty detailed. But, just like the rest of this heap, the screws don't screw in or they screw in crooked or strip out. Again, I can't believe I have to assemble a $240 "glorified" space heater. The best surprise of all is when you get to the end. You finally have the thing assembled and are instructed to "slide" the space heater into the cabinet and screw it in. The wood screw holes are NOT predrilled and oh by the way, there is no way to slide your arm between the cabinet and the heater to actually screw anything together. Now on to functionality. There are no discernable buttons on the heater (again, unlike the pictured control panel). You can just start pushing in the general area of the keypad to try to turn it on. Then use the remote, you say. With the remote, it is simple to turn on, but after the that, the remote is not intuitive whatsoever. Even after clicking the Power button on, you have to push the "Heater" button too to get any heat from it. The beeping and clunking while changing the settings is loud enough for your neighbors to hear you adjusting your little heater. Not impressed or happy with this purchase at all and at this price, I feel completely duped as it is clearly not the heater in the picture.
