EXACTLY What I Needed!
Finding this belt was an answer to prayer! It seems like about 30% of the time I buy stuff from Amazon, it's a disappointment -- the product isn't what it promised to be, it doesn't work the way it was supposed to, something is missing, it doesn't look like the picture, or there is something annoying about it that wasn't disclosed. About 60% of the time, the product is acceptable, but it's meh. And then there is a golden 10% in which I find a product that actually meets and exceeds my expectations and fills a real need. This was one of those golden few products. This belt was exactly as described and the fit is perfect whether you have a size 42" waist or a 22" waist. (After measuring it, it seems the maximum waist size this belt could comfortably fit is 48".) And they're right -- there is absolutely "no bounce" once it's strapped across your waist. In other words, it doesn't ride up and down and the water bottle doesn't slosh around and slip out of place. Plus the pocket is large enough to fit my large cell phone and its full wrap-around portfolio case (6" L x 3.25" W). And in addition, there is a smaller pocket to fit my house key. Pulling out the water bottle to take a quick gulp without having to stop is easy and so is returning it to its secure place. I began searching for this product because I was getting thirsty. It's summer and I was starting to be able to walk 2 or more miles at a time. The only thing that kept me from going longer distances was that I was getting thirsty! I couldn't see carrying an actual water bottle with me, when I was trying to walk as fast as I could. Plus my hands are very small and kind of weak after having carpal tunnel surgery done on them many years ago. I needed a way to be able to access water without having to carry it in my hand or have it strapped to my hand. After being obese and uncomfortable in my skin for several years (BMI 34), I got fed up with my body and finally started getting serious about eating smaller portions, eating healthier food, and actually working out! That was 18 months ago. I am now within 6 pounds of my goal weight and went from a size 16 jeans to a size 6 (BMI now 25). I started walking. At first I walked to the dog park exactly 1/4 mile from my house. I huffed and puffed and had to stop and bend over frequently because my back was hurting so much. Took me 50 minutes to walk the 1/4 mile and back. But I stuck with it and the walking got easier. I started pushing myself beyond the dog park. But I got bored. I'm always tuned into news and other media when I'm at home. I thought if I had some way to listen to something while I walk, it would be easier. DUH! Suddenly it dawned on me that my phone could be used for exactly that purpose. (Sorry, technology takes a while to catch up with this 40+-something-year-old!) I realized if I had something to keep my mind focused and occupied while walking, I might actually walk longer. So I downloaded an app for NPR and CNN and some podcast apps. Suddenly I was looking forward to walking and working out! The only obstacle then was the thirst. What could I do to be able to easily carry water AND my phone? That's when I found this belt. It is wonderful and I have enjoyed several 3.6-to-4.0-mile walks ever since.

I so badly want to give this 5 stars..
Now just because I'm giving it 4 stars doesn't mean I don't highly recommend this; it's wonderful and I DO recommend this running belt! There's just a couple of "downfalls" that will not impact everyone, but are annoying enough that I couldn't bring myself to give it 5 stars. 4.5 is probably quite accurate. First off, the good.. and there's a lot to love about this. It has literally played a direct role in helping me run more comfortably, run longer and have a better running time. Prior to this, I was either A.) not running with water (which in Florida means pretty short runs) or B.) Carrying a water bottle in my hand (or pockets) while I run, which was awkward, annoying and inconvenient (especially with the water bottles I was using, where I was having to stop to drink because I didn't have a "squirt into your mouth" bottle initially either). Being able to hold the water bottle on my hip (therefore keeping my hands and pockets free) make for a much more comfortable run. It also allows me to carry a bit more water because I can fit a bit larger of a water bottle in the belt than I would tend to carry with me when I had to carry it. This belt has also taken my iPhone out of my hands/pocket (and I don't have to wear a wrap around my arm to carry it either and make it less accessible) and prevents it from moving/shifting in my pocket/potentially falling out of my pocket when I pick up speed. It has a wonderful tiny pocket that I typically keep a $5 bill in (just incase I run by a place that sells water on a day that I maybe have drank more water than anticipated) and a couple of running gels. When I first got the belt, it felt pretty comfortable around my waist and really freed up my runs. Now, for the "downsides"... these downsides will not bother everyone but they do me. I typically run with AirPods (any sort of wireless headphones will take away the issue I'm about to mention) but there have been a couple occasions where I have misplaced my AirPods temporarily, wether it be someone borrowing them, not being able to find them when I need them or simply going somewhere for a weekend trip and not taking them with me. I have an iPhone XR; the iPhone fits in the belt pocket beautifully when there's no wires connected to it. When I have to use my wired headphones, though, it becomes a problem. The iPhone XR only fits in a specific way (you have to put the port-side in first) and run the wires over the phone and out of the top of the pocket. It doesn't easily go in or out of the pocket which, after numerous runs, becomes quite annoying (especially not being able to close the pocket all of the way). My MAIN issue is about the belt itself; there's a piece of plastic that you weave the velcro belt though when adjusting it to your size. In less than a month, the fabric that holds the hard plastic is scrunching on itself, meaning the plastic rectangle piece moves... and it moves a lot. When this shift happens, the belt loosens up a fair amount and falls down my waist some, at one point dropping far enough that it hit my thighs and I lost most of my balance. Due to this, after a few weeks of running comfortably, I now have to decide on either wearing it too tight or wearing it too loose, neither of which is very comfortable. This could be simply a "I got a faulty belt" and nobody else has this problem... but it's annoying enough and it loosens in my runs enough that I can't not mention it and knock it down from a 5 star rating. However... the pros absolutely outweigh the cons. It's an incredible product; do some research; I do recommend it!

Better than I expected, velcro belt is very convenient, even provides some lower back support
Once you adjust the velcro belt size, it is very easy to put on and can even adjust while on the run. I much prefer this over other options that you can't adjust easily. I was also impressed by the approach used to adjust the belt size - very innovative. The belt was wide enough that it was very comfortable and even seemed to provide some support to my lower back (nice surprise for someone with occasional back pain). The water bottle holder was even big enough that I could fit some of my bigger water bottles in it. The large pocket easily fit my iPhone 16 Pro. This turned out to be much better than I expected, and at a reasonable price.

Perfect Design!
Iโve only used this a few times on my walks/runs, but love it! The velcro makes this belt easily adjustable to your waist. The water bottle stays put but is easy to remove. I also like how it sits at an angle as itโs more comfortable against your body. The large zippered pocket carries my iPhone 17 Pro with case plus thereโs room to spare. I like that thereโs a separate zippered pocket for keys, lip balm, etc. Would highly recommend!

The bottle holder and pouch are fine. But the straps to secure...
So I really like the design of the bottle holder and the expandable pouch. It's enough for those days you want to go light. I don't run so this isn't for that purpose. I use bags like this for walks and going to disneyworld and outings like that. The bag has a very long strap that's used to secure. I pass it through a rectangular loop and then pull it tight. Here's what I don't like. Too much velcro I mean the entire strap is velcro all the way to the pouch. I understand that you are trying to make it universal but I don't like that much velcro simply because it snags my performance tops. I tested it on 1 garment and it did snag some. I think it could be worse with other pieces. I'll give it a try but I'm thinking it's going to snag my tops a lot and that's not OK. I'll update if I'm wrong

Great fit for small waist
Loving this hydration belt again. Fits my small waist. Is comfortable with water bottle and holds some of my gear. Bought this 5 years ago for running but now I use it for hiking. Can't tell I am wearing it. Well made.

Great for walking, but not jogging or running
For walking, this belt is perfect. It holds a water bottle very well and the material is of good quality. However, this is NOT a running belt. It bounced no matter how tight I had it and the velcro would not hold. It almost fell off after light jogging for just a few feet. I had to return it.

No bounce!
I have purchased this hydration belt twice. The first one lasted for years before it finally got too battered. The new version that I just tried out today is even better. The zippered phone compartment is bigger, fitting my oversize Samsung phone more easily. It is still just as bounce free. I use an oversize water bottle, and it fits just fine without bouncing. It can be made even more secure by hitching the elastic loop over the neck, but I haven't found this necessary. I wear the belt with the phone compartment at my back and the water bottle easily accessible by my right side. The additional, smaller zippered pocket is useful for credit cards, cash, energy gels, or various other small items. The velcro fastener on the belt is highly adjustable and comfortable. Highly recommend for runners!
