This Cool & warm mist humidifier is great! It's silent & is to use with its many different options from nightlight, 1-12 hr timer, humidity percent from 40%-95% & can be adjust in 5% increments. Love the fact it holds 4L of water that will last you awhile & the manual even says tap water can be used! Most humidifiers only van be used with distilled or reverse osmosis water so the fact you can use tap water is very convenient. The mist has 3 different stages of mist 1-3. It also displays the actual temp and humidity of the room its in at that time & the fact it has a remote makes it easy to adjust without ever having to get up to do so! Another great product from this Vivosun company. The plus side is the customer service this company has. Very helpful

I ordered 2 units for 2 small bedrooms. I need the one that I can set the humidity level and these 2 failed to deliver. After I set the mode to 50%, the units started working for 10 seconds, then the sensors read that the humidity reached the 50% in the room and stop while the room was still 40% humidity. The problem must be the sensor locations, it can not read through the mist that covered the unit. Then I increased the mode to 60% so it can spray mist more frequently. Oh well, even when the unit screen showed that the level was now 55%, it didn't start. And if you put it on "sleep mode" which most of us will do at night, the mist will be automatically at the lowest level and you can't change that. Btw, the mist doesn't spray up straight like what they showed in the advertising. They were at 45 degree angle. If you point the nozzles at the front or near the front, the mist will cover the sensor and the unit will stop. How about point the nozzles to the side? You will get the 10 seconds working that I mentioned above, and depend on where you put this unit, the annoying bright blue lights at night shine right in your eyes because the dark plastic covers are only for the front and the back.Overall, I like the look of the units but I will definitely return them.

Works well enough. Needs a stronger fan to move the mist upward. I find that much of the moisture settles on the floor right around the unit. My solution was to place it near a heat vent so it was blown into the room with the warm air.

Purchased several of these for gifts. Simple to set up. They would not be sufficient for a huge room, but for a normal size bedroom they work fine. Like the fact that they have lights on them that can be adjusted so if anybody walks through in the dark, they don’t happen to run into the humidifier. These also have two different little spouts on the top so that you can turn them individually and direct the mist the way that you prefer. Also, like the fact that when you select the humidity percentage you want, it has a reading to show what the actual room humidity level is and increases as the machine does its job.

I purchased it for the large reservoir so I'm not constantly filling it up. But I've noticed every so often moisture streams down the sides from the two handles on the sides. And the smaller reservoir above the handles sure doesn't hold much which makes some aggravation filling with all those holes all the way around. Other than that it's quiet and working great. Really easy to use but haven't had it but a couple days. If any major issues I'll update my review.

I purchased this humidifier 3 months ago. Firstly, I have used several other humidifiers in the past, so I am quite familiar with what to expect, and how to clean and care for them properly.Pros: it is rather quiet, and I liked the night mode, which turns off the display and disables beeping noises. Their customer support is great and promptly rectified my issue.Personally, I dislike the fact that you must remove the whole tank to fill upside down, then carefully place back onto the main unit.Now, for the tough part, Cons: - Its quite a process to clean each week (every humidifier should be cleaned often). You need to remove the tank, and unscrew the cap.-The cap got stuck on my several times and took several people, and rubber grips to open.-There are small areas that are hard to reach with anything but a q-tip. The inside of the tank is nearly inaccessible and you can only rinse it very well, you cannot fit a hand or cloth in to wipe it down.-This unit LEAKS no matter what I do. I made sure to follow the instructions, use clean water, clean the unit thoroughly, did all troubleshooting, and ensured the unit was carefully placed back onto the base. I even sat there for several minutes ensuring it was balanced flat and perfectly aligned....and yet it leaked 5 times. The whole tank emptied onto my table & floor. It ruined my wooden table. And I used so many towels to soak up the lake on my floor.Eventually, the tank started making a whirring noise. And now I am scared to ever turn it back on for fear the motor burns up, or that it will flood my floors again!This unit is likely faulty and must not seal properly when re-installing the tank. However, after this experience, I am skeptical and will look elsewhere.I only gave this 3 stars because of the manufacturer's assistance. They apologized for the issue and refunded the item.Into the dumpster, it goes, sadly, and after only 3 months.
