FLAME&SHADEElectric Fire Wood Stove, 51cm Portable Freestanding Fireplace Space Heater for Indoor use

It's surprising how impossible it is to find one of these electric fires that has a long enough power cable, since you can't use them on an extension lead. I'm pretty sure this is the only one in the world I could find with a long enough cable, which just so happened to be the perfect length. Fire looks great (especially when coupled with a flue pipe), is a good size and heats up my room in 2 minute.

Really easy to put legs on, blasts put a lot of heat, lovely that you can have fire glow on with heat off. The only negative is that remote control was missing and I can’t find a way of telling anyone except doing a return which I don’t want to do...

From searching through to collection, the proces was seamless, informative and timely. Delivery was in 4 working days and communicated consistently. On receip, the fire is exactly as described and wow, is it high quality.

Bought this electric fireplace as stuck at home. it really give our place that worm and cozy feel. very realistic fire and logs imitation. like that brightness can be adjusted. used heater too. little bit noisy, not too bad. absolutely pleased with the purchase. PS super easy to assemble too, just need 1 screwdriver ;)

I bought this as a present for my elderly parents to make the room look cozy during the cold weather. It worked for less then two weeks and wouldn’t switch on by remote or mains. I have the extra stress of getting it packaged up and retuned to the UK which is costing me €60 so very disappointed and parents so unhappy about the extra hassle of having to repackage and send back at a loss to me

The fire looks good and all appears to work ok. It provides the backup heat we require to compliment our central heating.It looks solid enough but is fairly flimsy so not sure of long term durability and it is relatively noisy in operation compared to other more solidly built ‘mock’ stoves we have.

I love this. I have a large fireplace but didn't want the hassle of a wood burner, nice as it would be.This is large and sturdy and sets the room off perfectly. Especially at Christmas.Came quickly and was extremely easy to set up.

It’s ok, but for the price I would have preferred and expected a more realistic flame, also the remote doesn’t work from my couch, it has to be pointed more closely… and I don’t live in a mansion house! I’ve tried from less than 4ft away and it doesn’t work, which defeats the purpose of a remote control…
