I haven't found a pesto brand I like better, and the "a la Genovesa" style actually evoke memories of the pasta verde I have had in Genoa.

This pesto sauce is smooth, creamy, and full of basil flavor. It has a nice mix of cheese and herbs that makes pasta taste fancy without much effort. I just mixed it with some noodles, and boom—delicious meal in minutes.It also works great as a spread on sandwiches or even as a dip. The texture is just right—not too thick or runny. I used these as flavor enhancers. Using the pesto by itself on pasta is not recommended. But I added it to a cream sauce and was very pleased with the outcome. Also made great stocking stuffers this past Christmas.

The Barilla pestos have grown so popular that they were out of stock at my local grocery store. Happy that Amazon has them because I use them a couple times a week.

I can barely stand this. It's incredibly salty, can't taste basil, cheese, nuts, anything but salt.. Going back to my tried and trusted brand.
