Sovol Creality Original 4010 Fans 40x40x10MM Extruder Hot End Fan and DC 24V Turbo Fan for Ender 3 3D Printer

One thing I have disliked about my printer is the tiny little fan over the hot end, it's too small to work effectively and it doesn't work well for long before it starts to vibrate and clog. Keeping the thing clean is an exersize in frustration due to the tiny fans on the contraption.Only solution, get better fans. These are definitely better fans. Now, I did have to poke around on Thingiverse to get a new mount, cover and duct for both of these as the existing cover is too small to easily fit 40mm fans. But, that is a small inconvenience to put up with for better cooling and quieter operation. Once I had the new case and ducts printed it was a short job to replace the existing fans with these.Now, it is worth noting that these come with almost a metre of cable attached to them - which is considerably more than I needed. If you are comfortable with a soldering iron, or adding your own clip mounts that should not be a problem. If you aren't comfortable doing that, I would suggest you look for a different fan that has what you need already attached.Once fitted, I turned the machine on and... these are much quieter than the original fans, by a long way. Still audible, and not quiet by any stretch of the imagination, these are "quieter" than the originals. But, the big thing is the amount of air these push around. The head is chilled where it should be, with a new vent around the brass tip the pla cools better and it's all rather nice.Definitely worth the money for the change from rattling grinding fans and constantly watching the hot end temperature so I don't suffer pre-melt in the feed. Hopefully these will last for a while, as I don't want to start another endless scheme of replacing things every couple of months.Worth the money in my opinion.

TL:DR - These are fantastic replacement fans, and I will be buying more.I initially only needed a single fan, but picked up this kit so I'd have a few spares.I have now swapped to these fans for all my 40mm and 4010 fans. There's plenty of extra cable length, so I was able to route it through my cable tidy and solder it to the mainboard with ease.These fans are actually a little quieter than the original fans, and there seems to be a bit more copper in the wire as well.

These worked perfectly. My only gripe is the stupidly long cable. I ended up cutting it and soldering it back together

These are super quiet compared to the original creality fans from stock and they have more blades on them than the originals, seems to run slightly cooler but not really noticeable, wires are the same connection to the motherboard so no splicing required, and there super cheap for a set of 4 fans 😉

i picked these up as i imagine for the same reason as everyone else, I chew through stock fans.been using one of the hotend fans for a few days now, works fine and seems quieter than stock

Works great, quiet, and doing good so far! If you want to replace your broken fan know how to solder. It was easy for me because I had the tools and know how but if you don't then find someone who does. Good luck and happy printing 🩷

Es sind leistungsstarke Lüfter für den Creality Ender 3. Sie sind jedoch auch perfekt für andere Drucker geeignet, da die Größe standardmäßig ist. Ich habe sie problemlos als Ersatzteile in einem Anycubic-Drucker verbaut.

Mi impresora 3D había dejado de funcionar debido al fallo de uno de los dos ventiladores del cabezal de impresión, leí la lectura de 24 v de su alimentación, la medida de 40 mm del cuadrado e hice el pedido. Funcionando de nuevo.
