Had deze set besteld. In mijn Stratje gemonteerd waar merk elementen in zaten, The Alamo Blues elementen en aan de brug een Fender TexMex. Wat een verschil! Op mijn buizen bak van super clean, via Tex blues naar heftige metall. De elementen doen het bijzonder goed. Zo goed dat ik nu drie stratocasters in huis heb met dezelfde pickups. De twee sets had ik alleen de pickups besteld van Alnicov. Net als bij de set met de slagplaat dienen ook de losse elementen met 500kOhm pots te zijn uitgerust. Met de standaard 250k pots klinken ze minder goed in het hoog. Bijzonder tevreden over deze bijzonder goedkope en goed klinkende elementen. Update 13-4-2024. Heb de elementen alweer een tijdje in gebruik. de enige "klacht" is dat de pups hot zijn. Dus ik heb de hoge kant op ca 1 mm en de lage kant ca 2 mm boven de slagplaat. Geweldig geluid. Er wordt geschreven vintage staggered pole pieces. Maar gelukkig zijn deze vlak. Komt de balans tussen de snaren absoluut ten goede. Onwijze aankoop.

Nicely boxed ready to use loaded pickguard featuring lovely sounding alnico single coil pickups. The 5 way selecter switch is great and is a good component - the "clunk" between positions is a very positive feel and better than the cheap one I replaced it with. The pots work well and the electronics are great. Nice circuit and soldered carefully. Works a charm! I bought this replacing stock ceramic pickups in a budget Encore Strat- this guitar now sounds fab. Each pickup has a distinctive sound and I can select sounds from crunchy and tinny all the way through to warm and Hendrixy. A bargain;)

Molto buono! L’ho montato su una Partcaster da me schermata. Pickup silenziosi e dal suono cristallino. Altamente raccomandato!

You know... I see plenty of pre-loads on internet auction sites. Lots of them have some decent electronics, but for the money I paid here, these Alnico V’s push out enough Strat Quack to keep up with a high priced Fender. Sure they came from China, and sure it took a butt load of time time to arrive, and sure the pots are smaller, but when it did arrive, I slapped it onto my Black Stratenstein and set it up, popped on a Fender decal on the headstock and voila... instant stratification. I highly suggest scoring up a board of this good stuff and see for yourself.
