Find the hole!
These work very well. They do what they are supposed to do. They are sturdy, adequately gauged, quality steel, with decent (if not quite kitchen grade) plating. They will help people whose bodies don't quite bend as easily as perhaps once they did. So, where is the hole? You know, the aperture designed to accommodate a hook or hanging cord? I have read some user complaints bemoaning its absence. Well, actually IT IS THERE! Yes, there is indeed a hanging hole. However, you must work some to find it. Here is how. Just palpate (as in touch and squeeze) the butt end of the handle. You will feel its outline. It is a .375" hole, centered on the long axis of the tool and one inch exactly from the butt end. Now, I am still pondering why the manufacturers decided to bore such a hole, as everyone would expect, and then cover it over with a plastic-leather handle, as nobody would expect. My best guess is that the item was once marketed without the plastic-leather handle, but only until fussy customers objected to the unblunted edges of the tool causing painful gripping or cut flesh. So, the plastic-leather was added to soften the grip. By doing that, the hole was covered over. Accepting this hypothesis raises another question. That is, why not punch through the covering and restore the utility of the hole? Well, I don't know. But it is certainly easy enough to employ some DIY savvy. Any non-klutz can puncture the plastic-leather. A crude job could be done with a hammer and a nail. A cleaner job would use a power drill with a bit no larger than .375" (=3/8"). Actually, it might be neater and less ragged on the hole edges if a slightly smaller bit is employed. Make your own choice. But I believe the very best results will come from using a circular hole punch slightly smaller than the existing hole in the steel. It will make a very clean cut edge on the plastic-leather hole, while not exposing the edges of steel hole. If you haven't used a circular hole punch before, you need to know the results are always better if you put a piece of scrap wood backing behind the hole you're punching. Creative users will probably discover numerous secondary uses for this item: 1) Coaxing a pet out from under a couch. 2) Inflicting corporal punishments (for consenting adults only). 3) Scratching back itches. 4) Swatting airborne insects. 5) Prying open garden holes for planting flower bulbs. 6) Conveying untouchables to the disposal bin (cleanse afterwards). 7) Using as paddles for driveway ping-pong. 8) Depressing tongues of large animals during dental exams. 9) Stirring Epsom salts into bath water. 10) Blocking just one eye in vision testing. In summary, these are useful tools, well made and economically priced. Keep them where you change your shoes. Good luck.

Great buy
If you're looking for a long shoe horn, look no further. This is durable, the metal is very strong! The height of it is perfect. I bought this as a gift for a loved one who is six feet tall and he doesn't even need to bend over to use this. It comes in two pieces and can easily be packed away if needed for travel or if you don't have somewhere to keep it while it's at full length. I would highly recommend and purchase for anyone that struggles with getting shoes on, bending over, or has an injury that requires a little extra help.

Liked plastic shoehorn better but this will not break.
Previously used plastic shoehorn which I liked. These are a little thicker and donโt work as well with some shoes. However these definitely wonโt break after time and the work well enough.

Ridgid and sturdy.
I absolutely love my 36" shoehorn! As someone with back pain, trying to bend down and put on my shoes was always a struggle. This shoehorn has been a game-changer for me - I can now easily slip on my shoes without any pain or discomfort. The shoehorn is made of durable, high-quality materials and is long enough to use while sitting or standing. Plus, the curved design helps guide the shoe onto your foot smoothly. I appreciate that the shoehorn is lightweight and easy to use, yet sturdy enough to handle daily use. It's been a real life-saver for me and I would highly recommend it to anyone who struggles with bending down to put on their shoes. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and would give this product a 4.5-star rating. Thank you to the manufacturer and Amazon for providing such a fantastic product!

Doesn't Last, Doesn't Make Warranty Easy To Act On
The shoe horn is the right length and does the job for an old guy with arthritis. However, I had to buy a new one because the old one broke. I see there's supposed to be a lifetime warranty, but Amazon doesn't provide the correct link and contacting the company by phone only leads to a request to send an email to a web domain that doesn't match the company's name. So expect to have to replace yours in about two years.

Gets your shoes on
My husband needed these as he always has sore joints. PLUS these stop him from stepping on the backs of his shoes and running them. Gets the job done. Good quality

Excellent product at reasonable cost.
Very Impressed with this 2 pack of metal shoe horns, especially for the cost compared to plastic made competitors. I leave one at the main entrance for elderly visitors and one at the back door for family. Plastic one kept breaking. I recommend this product.

Shoes are all slip-ons now
I hate having to tie my sneakers and oxfords, but with this, I can now just leave them tied and use the shoe horn to slip my feet into my shoes. They work great so far.
