Papo - Medieval & Fantasy - Weapon Master Castle - 60002 - Wooden playset for Figurines - Collectible - for Children - Suitable for Boys and Girls - from 3 Years Old

My son loves it. My only advice is to use superglue when assembling and attach to a strong board. Otherwise, it's hard for the castle to stay together. I used gorilla glue and it is now one sturdy piece my son and his friends can play with.

We ordered this castle after looking at several castles for my son's Papo figures. We read a review of the product that wasn't very good, however we were not disappointed that we bought anyway. Our 10 year old son is absolutely thrilled with it! Most of the Papo figures, including the crocodile and the bull, do fit on the ledge, which is about 2" wide. Any of the figures fit in the large turrets, while the smaller knights fit just fine in the smaller turrets. The wood is nice and thick and my husband had no issue putting the castle together. We did put it onto a thick piece of cardboard so our son could slide it around to different areas of his room. There is also a lot of room, approximately 15" x 12" or so, in the middle, or courtyard area.Our son wanted to give this castle 5 stars but there are 2 reasons we opted for the 4 stars. One is we thought the price was a bit high, but forgivable now that we've seen how much our son has enjoyed it. The other reason is that the actual detail on the castle (i.e. the brick outlines) is not that fantastic. It's not ugly, it's just very simple and we think it could have been a little better for the price and the reputation of Papo. Overall we are very pleased with the size, style, and function of this castle.

This item came in a box that had clearly been opened and then retaped, pieces are missing and/or broken. The glue holding the cheap pieces together has dried out and started cracking; every time we took pieces out of the box they would come apart. The crosses that are supposed to go on top of the castlee are nowhere to be found, the pieces were just thrown in with no order - as if this has already been opened and returned at least once. Terrible purchase and condition.

given the fantastic detail of papo figures, we were expecting more from this castle. the most frustrating thing is that the figures are not all able to comfortably fit on the stand to look over the walls. the 'ledge' is too narrow. also, we only received four shields to hang from the exterior walls, when there are eight hook placings- so the photo is very deceiving in showing the four red shields covering the two walls. that means the two back walls not in the photo are bare. why have places to hang things when they are not included in a set that costs this much???????one of the wooden blocks have already fallen off from the drawbridge. we only assembled the castle 2 days ago, and have barely played with it. this may be from faulty packaging, but the brick sheared off on two sides.so whilst we want to be generous with the ranking, we feel that this is not up the the high standards papo has set with the figurines of knights, dragons, and mutants. we would not recommend the purchase of this castle to others.

My grandson starts every day by opening up his castle - the best toy ever.

expected it to be of better quality, materials that were used were very cheap. disappointed for sure

It came broken. Would have loved it if it was not broken. Nice wood and easy to put together. Karla
