My aging mother came to visit me and she complained that my dishes were too heavy for her when she put them away. Mom asked me to buy Corelle dishes because they're durable, microwavable, and light enough for her to move from the dishwasher to the cabinet. After having Corelle dishes for a decade, I can't see myself using anything else. They check all the boxes!

What is not to like about this dishware. It does not break or chip, it is the perfect size and easily fits in every dishwasher.

The square dinnerware is a great platform for formal, special dining, special occasion, dinners, lunches! Food displays beautifully on the white background. Just change tablecloth, riders and napkins to set a completely different look for each occasion. We have had the round white dinnerware for 37 to 39 years and the only pieces showing where are the plates that are used in oven and in the dishwasher all the brand new! Highly recommended. The least expensive being sold, because of how long it lasts, and looks new. Also, it’s nice to know if you want more pieces you just go buy some. For every day round, and square for special occasions and holidays! Makes it fun to cook and entertain.

I have 2 older sets of round Corelle plates that are holding up well but date back to the early 80's and was a little concerned about the possibility of lead (the internet does this too you) so I wanted a new set and decided to try simple white squares.Ordered 12 large plates, 12 small plates and 12 bowls. I actually like the plain look, but noticed that some of the plates are a bit wavy at the edges (you can see it when they are stacked), the other issue I have is the plates and bowls fit differently / take up more room in the dishwasher than the round plates which has thrown my loading routine into chaos.I can live with the little bit of waviness, but I am still debating the dishwasher situation.

The square luncheon Corelle are our absolute favorite plates. They fit well in cabinets and wear perfectly through tons of dishwasher cycles. We use them for dinner and we find the size is ideal for portion control.
