Good olive mix, reasonable price, prompt delivery

I like to stock up on essentials and roland's products are high quality. These are no exception. They are pitted and very salty so if you want to reduce salt rinse them but all olives are soft and flavorful. I prefer these to the last olives I bought in a bag and packed in oil. Different brand also.

Roland is usually pretty good, therefore it was a real bad surprise to try these. It says it contains herbs and spices (does not even mentions salt). I can't taste any herbs in these. in fact, it is hard to taste olives. After trying 5 of them - salt started to hurt my mouth, and it is the only flavour i can taste. Maybe it is my batch only. but it is SHOCKINGLY over-salted.Olives seem to be ok, but as i say - i can't even taste them. Salt Salt, salt. Just bad.We use olives for decades, tried them in middle east, medditeranean, and other places. NEVER I tried them so over-salted.I will pour 1/2 of the liquid out, add some red wine and olive oil. maybe they will get a bit better. But i should not need to do these things. Roland should give a prompt refund.

I grew up eating Greek olives. These are mixed. Not as salty as in a small can it a jar. They are so so good! In two days I'm getting close to finishing off a half a pound. Will definitely be getting more.True, the container leaked a tiny bit. I signed up for one shipment in six month but I'm sure I'd be getting one sooner.These are true Greek olives with pits and that's how I like them. Once in a while there would be a softer olive but they all taste great.They are for a true olive lover. And that's me. Love love love them!Texture is amazing and most of them are large. Once in a while there'd be a smaller one but they all taste the way olives should, amazing!I came back to add that there were more dark big olives. Now the deeper I go the smaller and the greener the olives get. Still, considering I paid about $20 with subscribe and save it's not a bad buy. I'd prefer to have more black olives. But I still might get these again

Tired of buying small jars at high prices so tried these & was over the moon happy w purchase! I like olives w pits so very happy w these. Also like the limited ingredient list.Bought a barrel for my daughter & she was delighted. I’ve been to Greece- ate tons of olives & these brought back those memoriesAlso like the sieve type plunger on top of the container that holds olives down in the brineThank you for a superior product!!

Ok. But I won't purchase again.A lot (and I do mean a lot!) of mostly rather small unpitted olives in a salty brine. Taste is okay. A little too salty if you ask me. And after eating a handful of tiny, kinda salty, unpitted olives that just taste okay ... you'll wonder why you bothered to buy these olives. It is a lot of work to eat them ... the small pits inside small olives just get in the way of them accessing your taste buds. Don't bother.

I've used Roland products for many years and know the brand. Got tired of paying for too much retail for a 6oz. of mixed olives.Can't believe some of the whiny reviews; salty, varied textures, pits! Mixed olives! Go back to your canned black olives for uniform blandness. Only buy these if you want a variety and can deal with pits. How do you eat cherries with pits? Textural differences are inherent in a mix. Enjoy diversity! If you find the olives too salty, drain off a cup of brine(a salt solution) and replace with water. Wait a few days and repeat as needed. It works.This is a nice, tasty assortment of olives at a reasonable price for those who really like olives. Thanks.

This is very salty and they are rather soft. So as not to waste them I rinsed them out and soaked them in wine. I will not be buying them again.
