Very useful for guiding curriculum redesign to align with CCSS. Excellent description of the necessary step by step processes to designing an effective curriculum. Larry Ainsworth just keeps getting better. As the dieectory of literacy programs of a large school district, this text is indispensable to me. Second best to having the author on speed dial.

Great book, in-time/relevant information. I'm been able to apply what I'm reading in our data meetings and the information is unreal how it is in sync with what our district is experiencing.

This is an easy read that clearly explains a process of implementation for standards based curriculum at the school/district level. Having read the book, I have a better understanding of the big picture in regards to RtI, core standards and 21st century skills.

I am tasked with writing a 20-week curriculum and this book has made me look like a rock star. It's quite literally a step-by-step guide on how to do it. each step is explained and exemplified to ensure you understand the step. The book is designed for K-12 teachers but with very slight modifications it can work for higher ed, corporate training, or in my case skills-based training for law enforcement. It's a really strong how-to guide.
