I Love You More: A 2-in-1 Story About Love From the Child and Mother's Point of View (Gifts for Mother's Day)

This is my favorite children’s book and my 4th time purchasing over the years. It is PERFECT for a baby shower gift! Brings tears to my eyes every time I read it!

Every baby shower I go to rings in one more sale for this book! I bought this one weepy day during my 1st and only pregnancy. I have a daughter.. yes I know this is about a mother/son, but we just change it from son to daughter when we read it. My daughter is 8 years old now, and this book remains with us. No, we don't really read it anymore... she's outgrown it by now.. but it's in our home, packed with a few favorite items.. her hospital-to-home outift, favorite stuffie, etc.The book is just too darn sweet not to have! And whenever I give this book at a shower, I hear from the new mommy about how it's her favorite to read to her new bundle of joy. It really is so sweet! And I have so many memories with my daughter, reading this at bedtime... making up our own rhymes to fit in. It's just.. "precious"... I would definitely recommend it to any new mother... whether they're having a son or daughter.

This book is so sweet and brings out all the love between me and my son. I highly recommend this book- it will make bedtime story time so loving.

There are quite a few children's books out there in this vein. Most if not all are excellent, too many to mention here, but the standout ones are,  I Love You Through And Through , The I LOVE YOU Book , Wherever You Are: My Love Will Find You , I Love You As Much...  and  On the Night You Were Born (all of these are most excellent!) But if you can only buy one, it may well be that this is the one you want. Very nice and magical for young minds. This is a dual sided book. So, when you get to the center and turn the book to read the center pages and start over, it appears as if you have started over again from the beginning but with a different book. Little ones will be impressed but the words themselves are very appealing to parents as well. Highly recommended.

I was recently at a book store participating in a play event. At the event I went off with my infant son and found I Love You More. As I read it tears rolled down my cheeks. This book helps explain the big love we have for our children and is easily relatable. Good read for anytime of the day 100%. On the flip side is another view on how a child loves their mother.

This book is such a great idea...you read one side of the book, and flip it over to the other side to hear the story from the mommy's perspective to the child's. It makes me cry every time I read it....and I read it often! It is so sweet and pulls at every heartstring in a mommy's soul. My kids get really quiet when I read it because they get that feeling too. They immediately jump on my lap and snuggle me. This and another book written by the same author, same style, You Are a Gift to the World, are the absolute favorite books of both me and my kids. I'm tearing up just writing this review!

Received book and it looked used. The sides of the book were damaged.

I got this for my son on his 11th birthday.He read the book to me and after when he looked up to say , he loved me more ....I saw his eyes glistened with tears. We shared a very touching moment. Love this book!

Great book. Smaller than the normal ones in store.

Greatest mother/son book. We bought this because someone gave it to us, now we get to gift a mother son this as well
